I used this cat flap on an internal door with panel sections and needed one that didn't come with a tunnel. The door panels are only around 5 or 6mm thick and I didn't want a long tunnel getting in the way on an inside door. If you are putting a cat flap into something thicker then you are probably going to need one with a tunnel instead. Do check as this one is designed for thin panels etc. and clearly states there is no tunnel. This could be used on an external door but, again, the thickness of the door is the key. It comes with two sets of screws, one set shorter than the other. This was useful as one length was much better for our door than the other. It also comes with sticky pads for sticking on the half of the flap that goes on the inside of your room. Instructions suggest this part could be screwed on but, as others have said, there are no screw holes on that part. The pads were very good and, with the screws on the other half, have kept the flap firmly in place. Fitting was not a problem, although I did not end up using the paper template that came with it. The result is a really neat cat flap that allows us to have our front room door shut during the winter and without shutting the cat in/out. The door will lock either and both ways, although I find one of the slide catches a little fiddly. Still, it won't be locked very often so not a problem for us. The cat is very happy using it and showed off when first using it by going out and coming back in a number of times in quick succession. Cats!

I ordered this make of cat flap by mistake, but I am so pleased I did, it’s so easy to fit, looks great and my cat loves it. Excellent product and great value for money. Highly recommend.

Easy and simple to fit but doesn’t have a very good seal so allows a fare breeze in even once shut.

For the price I guess I should've expected it. Out the box one of them the magnet fell out. Which glued back in. But then wished I didn't glue it back in as the two magnets on the frame and the door dont correctly line up. Which means the door doesn't fold all the way down. Which means you cant slide the locking tabs across. Also the felt on the edges is just double sided sticky and failed the first cold night. Easily fixed with some drops of super glue. And they are slightly too long, again touching the bottom near the locking tabs which stops the door folsing flat too. The magnet is a bit too strong too so I wish I left it out. As my 14 week kittens try nudge it but they assume it's shut because it's too strong. So not ready to use out the box. But for the price and a bit of effort and a tube of Superglue they can be OK

Die Klappe schwingt nicht sonder bleibt offen stehen. Auch unten hängt die Klappe. Enttäuschend. Ich habe versucht mit Schmiermittel etwa zu erreichen. Ohne Erfolg. Kleine Gewichte helfen auch nicht. Wenn die Katzen raus gehen, dann bleibt die Klappe offen.

Lo compré para que me lo instalara el cristalero en la puerta de cristal de la galería. He comprado la talla XL que tengo un gato muy grande y cabe perfectamente. No pasa nada de corriente, que era algo que me preocupaba. Y a los gatos les enseñé a pasar acompañándolos un par de veces y luego ellos solos salen al patio a hacer sus cosas en el arenero. Que tenía que tener la puerta abierta con el frio entrando en casa y el gasto en calefacción que lleva.

Wir haben die Katzentür gekauft, um unserer Katze den einfachen Zugang zum Balkon über die Fliegengitter-Schiebetür zu ermöglichen – und das klappt richtig gut! Die Größe (X-Large) ist perfekt für unsere normal große Hauskatze, da hat sie genug Platz beim Durchgehen und bleibt nicht hängen. Der Einbau war relativ einfach – man sollte aber etwas handwerkliches Geschick mitbringen, vor allem wenn man das Ganze in ein Fliegengitter einbauen will. Bei uns hält es aber stabil und sitzt gut. Die 4-Wege-Sperre ist super praktisch: je nach Bedarf kann man einstellen, ob die Katze rein, raus, beides oder gar nicht durch darf. Gerade abends oder wenn Besuch kommt, ist das sehr hilfreich. Auch bei Wind und Wetter bleibt die Klappe dicht – sie schließt gut, ohne zu klappern. Ein kleiner Punkt: Wenn man eine sehr dünne Gittertür hat, muss man evtl. etwas tricksen beim Befestigen, aber mit etwas Geduld klappt es. Fazit: Tolle Lösung für Balkon, Fenster oder leichte Türen. Wetterfest, stabil und mit praktischer 4-Wege-Sperre. Unsere Katze hat sich schnell daran gewöhnt – klare Empfehlung!
