I Recently got this tawa and I must say I am really impressed It is healthy and chemical-free and once properly seasoned it cooks dosas and chapatis perfectly It feels strong and sturdy though a bit heavy You need to wash dry and oil it but if you maintain it well this pan can last for years Overall it is a solid and reliable choice for everyday Indian cooking✌🏻

Very worst product... I am giving a review after 10 days of use. Dosa pan got heat at the middle portion nly.. dosa will not cook evenly, dosa is burning in the middle, and the end portion not cooks fully,bcz the heat spreads nly middle portion of the pan.. waste of money

Good Product

Strong and heavy cast iron tawa that can make perfect crispy dosa, its heavy around 2.4kg but the weight distribution is good enough. Take times to heat up seems it is of good iron quality.

I recently purchased this dosa tawa I must tell it is a awesome product for crispy dosas and chapatis.... You should do seasoning before using it,just do this although it is preseasoned you will defenetly love it.heat distribution is good, this tawa is quite heavy but very useful for your daily dosa routine.....

Received the tawa with a broken handle and couldn’t return/replace it as I had to travel immediately after the delivery. Haven’t used it yet, will further edit the review after regular use.

The iron tawa by Indus Velly is solid, well built and heats evenly for perfect rotis and Dosas. The seasoning is excellent out of the box. L, and it improves with every use.its weight give premium feel while cooking. A great traditional addition for any kitchen.

Disappointing Experience with The Indus Valley Cast Iron Tawa I recently purchased The Indus Valley Cast Iron Tawa, excited to try it out for the first time. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. On its very first use, after just three to four minutes on the gas stove with a small amount of oil, the tawa cracked. I was shocked, especially since cast iron is supposed to be durable and long-lasting. I followed all the care instructions properly, but it still failed to perform as expected. It's incredibly frustrating to invest in a product that breaks right out of the box. Based on my experience. I would not recommend this tawa to anyone looking for a reliable and sturdy cooking tool. Definitely not worth the money.
