Works Great
Ordered two trackpads in order to replace on my MacBooks. One of trackpads had different cable (longer and with more turns, it was not designed for MacBook pro late 2014). Both trackpads where in exactly same boxes with exactly same product numbers. I had successfully return of them.The other one (the proper one) I successfully installed on my MacBook pro late 2014 about a month ago. Since that, the trackpads works great.

Works great on my late 2013 Macbook Pro
I bought this to replace the failed factory touchpad in my late 2013 Macbook Pro. Installation was easy but not for the faint of heart since the battery pack needs to be removed (I recommend liberal application of heat from the top side of the case as there is a LOT of adhesive holding the batteries in place). I also recommend watching some videos showing how to do this job ... just search youtube and you'll find some ... ifixit.com might have some good pics also.It works great, and its been over a year. I highly recommend.

Worked as advertised. It may have ordered the incorrect trackpad because the cable we the wrong configurations. This was not a problem because I was able to unclip the cable from my old (bad) trackpad and install it on my new trackpad. There is a very small release tab that holds the ribbon in place. Problem solved.

and I would recommend this product for other MacBook Pro users
My new trackpad works perfectly! The online tutorial videos helped me replace the trackpad. I would advise others to make sure to buy the required screwdrivers, nylon string, glue remover, and plastic joint knives to remove the battery and access the trackpad. Thank you, and I would recommend this product for other MacBook Pro users!

Doesn’t fit.
Ribbon cable did not fit my MacBook Pro. Said it would fit a Early 2013 15” but no.

Solved the issue
I first replaced the old battery thinking that it was applying pressure on my trackpad, but in the end I needed to replace the trackpad as well. It now works great. Thanks!

This product was a direct replacement for my original track ...
This product was a direct replacement for my original track pad. Once replaced I can not tell any difference over the original, it is exactly the same as when I first bought the laptop.
