Easy to install and fixed my issue for now at least, its been a month so far.2016 F150, I was getting a grinding from my front end in cooler weather at speeds between 20-40 mph going up-hill. Was very intermittent and could only replicate on two stretches of road near me. When letting off the accelerator or selected into 4H the grinding would stop. After reading around I found this solenoid or check valve could have been the culprit. Changed both as they came together and has fixed the issue.

I started getting the dreadful IWE valve failure after using 4WD during a snow storm. I was hearing what sounded like a chunk of ice stuck against the brake rotor. When I got on the highway, you could tell it was gears grinding on each other.Installing the this valve was as easy as changing light bulbs. Pull the hoses off, lift the clip and pull off, lift the back clip and pull down. If the hoses are stuck, I used a pick to help break the seal. I did have problems with the electrical connector clip being cracked, so I had to use a pick to get under the tabs and lift it off.At the time of this review, I've had it installed for a few weeks and have driven over 1,000 miles and the issue is gone.
