This pan is solidly constructed, the non-stick works well, and the size is adequate for most preparations. The pan is very easy to clean, but you must be careful to not keep the heat at high. The handle is made of bakelite and there is a risk of burning the bottom of the handle if you use gas burners and the flame is high. There is a red rubber attachment that is at the pan-end of the handle, which turns white when the pan is hot. I didn't find this very useful. The pan feels adequately heavy, and the lid is made well. Although it say you can use metal on this, I use non-stick safe material only for stirring, etc. The one defect is that the surface is not totally flat. particularly the center of the pan. But this has not been a big problem so far. Overall, I highly recommend this pan for its size, construction, ease of use, performance and price.

The only negative for this pan is that isn't sloped for omelets making it hard to remove without damaging the omelets.Otherwise, it has been awesome in terms of cooking and cleaning. It cleans so amazingly easily. I haven't tried any meat in there. I got this specifically for omelets. So, I can't speak to that.Cooking takes less gas flame heat and the pan cooks at a particularly awesome even rate across the pan surface making for perfect omelettes. The handle doesn't get hot and is wonderfully and comfortably designed. I might get another one just to see how well it cooks meat and.cleans up afterwards. I wish they had a 9" omelette only version of this pan with the sloped sides. If I can fid it, I'd buy it today. These modern induction capable pans and new nonstick surfaces are amazing. I only hope they last. With as easy as they are to clean, I believe that they will. There is no need to leave this for later. It's so quick to clean, that's its done before your meal is cool enough to eat.

I like how the pan cooks whatever evenly; easily remove from the pan and light weight but cooks like a cast iron pan.

This pan is truly very neat. It doesn't have the same delicate feel of a traditional nonstick. It's more akin to a cast iron than Teflon. You season it like a cast iron, you don't need to baby it like Teflon. It's interesting! I really like it! Despite the porous surface it is truly nonstick! I'm a nervous nell so I was still adding oil but the oil all floats to the sides of the pan. My eggs still dont stick! Wild!

This is a good nonstick pan. It’s reasonably priced, lightweight, and a good size. I wish I had purchased one that had a clear lid on it instead. The one thing that I don’t care for about this pan is that the center is raised (see photo) so your foods tend to run to the edges of the pan instead of staying in the center?

Love the truly non-stick surface! Perfect family size. Love that my fried potatoes didn't stick at all and I could make them extra crispy. Great value for the price. I'll purchase again.

Nice addition for an all around great frying pan. The Vinchef is really nice looking, well made, heavy, but not as heavy as a cast iron skillet, it's 9.5 inch with a new technology cast aluminum layered bottom. And it has a beautiful wooden brown handle thats cool to the touch. I had to season the pan on low heat with some oil but very nice pan for a good price. Liked it so much I just ordered the 11 inch frying pan too.
