Still testing..
Connected this via a belt to a 24V DC magnetic motor fully running at 31V DC. Getting around 30V AC/DC out of it but the amperage is very low around 1.2A????? When connected to a AC to DC controller ..bit drops to 16V and 0.2-0.4A. This is at 2500RPMs ... where is the 1500W y'all talking about????Still testing it..

Strong Magnets
The Stator seems to have 16 coil poles, and the rotor seems to have 16 strong magnets. The cogging is strong, and it takes considerable effort to turn the pulley. I guess the stator winding wire gauge to be around 16. I don't want to disassemble it, just now, for return reasons, and because the magnets are so strong that getting the rotor back in place could be difficult. It has two small diodes that have a minimal heatsink. The stator coils feed them with around 16 gauge wire, and I don't know how it can make 1500 watts with wire that small. It seems to be single phase.Amazon specs say the bulb voltage is 761 volts, and I have only questions as I connect it to a motor with a tach.More later.

It's just an alternator, MINUS the rectifier diodes, so you get 14vAC, not DC.
Why are you guys not just buying an alternator? Alternators already have the rectifier diodes so you get DC voltage, they run 100-120A, AND: FOR CHEAP CHINA ALTERNATORS, I USUALLY ORDER 3-4 BEFORE I GET A GOOD ONE. AND THAT'S FROM A PARTS STORE WITH REPUTABLE BRANDS! DO NOT BUY THIS!
