The media could not be loaded. I bought this from my Dodge Challenger hellcat redeye because the car is the most stolen car. I used it this way at the car is broken into they will not be able to hook up to the OBD 2 this is how they fob a new key so they can start the car to steal it. I relocated my OBD two to a different location and used this one and hooked it to the power so people cannot steal the car. It’s a pretty good quality part.

Perfect as spare OBD2 ports

I have another purpose for this, I'm not hooking it up but it does have all the wires there and appears to be a solidly made piece for an OBD2 port. I'm going to hide my original OBD2 port up underneath the dash and use this one as a dummy port so if anyone were to get in and try to connect up a key programmer they'd find a dead port.

I bought a full kit to put an OBD connector together for 30 bucks but I gotta crimp the wires and encase it into the ODB connector... and this is a LIFE SAVER for 15 bucks, don't have to do the crimping or any of that. It's all put together in a nice neat package and all you have to do it just connect it in and viola!! great purchase!

The JUTA OBD2 J1962 is a 16 pin female to open pigtail cable and bracket. It has worked perfectly on a project I have needing a OBD2 port. The bracket is sturdy and holds up under repeated removal of the testing cable. I am very happy with this kit and even happier that I have two ports if anything goes wrong with the first one.

These were great for my CAN BUS project so that I could use an automotive USB CAN interface with a single CAN BUS device outside of a car. The bracket snaps onto the port nicely, giving the whole thing a reliable and solid feel.
