Somewhat different--these socks come as left and right though whether there is any real difference I cannot tell. They are thin with only minimal padding at the heel and ball. Being one-size-fits-many stretch socks, if you have fairly large feet they will be a trial to get on and off. But they look sharp, with bright colors unfaded by washing and drying.
