How is this different than the Suclain brand, which is selling two dispensers for the same price? (Half the price.) It looks like the same thing.

Whilst the product is likely the same, Suclain appears to be selling our product. We expect that they are selling our products at a loss in order to put us out of business! What a world we live in! Does the spout have a cap?

No it doesnt. Great oil dispenser but no cap. It does have a plastic plug with a spout and another spout for positive air flow. But it doesnt have a cap from keeping stuff like dust or bugs dropping into top spout area.

When it’s sitting unused in the kitchen, is it open to the air or is there something keeping it sealed?

It is open to the Air But oil does not go bad. It’s a good product and we have been using it. biggest advantage is the oil does not drip out side of the container
