Kingavon BB-DC102 Motion Sensor Alarm

Ideal for my requirement. Easy to use.

I was paranoid at Xmas that someone would steel my sons brand new bike before he got it. I used rechargeable batteries, close to new, and fully charged. I set it up about a week before Xmas and had to go into the shed 3 days later it was flat. I recharged it 3 days later and Xmas day we went in and it was flat again. Big drainer of power don't waste your money

Neat and tidy, I used it to alarm my garden shed.

Installed in a garage looking directly at the rear (normal sized) doorway. It's detected me walking through it each time I've went out to the garage, so that's good. It makes a 103db noise (claimed, I havent measured it) which seems loud enough inside the garage when it goes off, which for me is only 5 seconds or so after it detects movement. The alarm unit and the bracket to tilt are both flimsy, so it could easily be taken off the wall with a bit of force if a would be thief decided to do so. I'm happy with it as it successfully detects motion coming through the door, makes a loud enough noise that I think most thieves would run from and I've mounted it high enough it's not 'easy' to get at. It also only cost £5.50, which seems good value. Note, you need 4 AA batteries to power(not supplied).

nice idea, loud alarm, wireless remote etc. Great if it worked but I put it in the garage, tested it, worked like a dream. A few hours later, went to lock my bike up and gave the alarm another test and it was dead. There is too much of this cheap rubbish on amazon. Lucky their returns are so good. AVOID this if you value your possessions!

Got this for my shed, works really well and is very loud. Triggers correctly, remote works well and makes it easy to activate and switch off.
