In an attempt to reduce our energy use, we have decided to prepare meals in a pressure cooker. The results are outstanding, Goulash in 25 mins meat tender delish. Sprouts cooked to perfection in 6 mins. You cannot go wrong with this item. Every kitchen should have one (or two!!). Quality build as you would expect from the Swiss. Ease to use and so quite. Unlike the hissing monster of the past. Well worth the investment to own the rolls royce of pressure cookers

I owned a pressure cooker before and never really got on with it; Big and noisy. I purchased this one for cooking rice and pulses quickly without steaming the kitchen windows. I also needed one that would work on my induction hob. This one is more compact making it easier to store. The size is ideal for just 2 people but would cook enough for more. The instructions are clear and the chart for individual foods very helpful. Cooks brown rice in 18 minutes without sticking to the bottom of the pan! Is also very quiet compared to my earlier pressure cooker.

Have used several pressure cookers in my time and this is the quietest ever. Usually cook overnight soaked beans which come out beautifully cooked. Feels very well made. It is heavy in weight.

This was a replacement for the same pressure cooker that Ive used daily fir well over twenty years. Very efficient

I had a Prestige pressure cooker for many years & it performed well but as I got older I found it hard to lift. My husband didn't like the "hissing" noise it gave out & thought we would one day be blown up! I had seen reviews of the Kuhn Rikon in several places so went for it.It is worth every penny. It cooks quickly & stew is beautifully tender.It DOES NOT hiss loudly & is so easy to use & clean. This size is ideal for two of use but should hold enough for more.

Fast and quiet, especially in combination with an induction or gas hob. Generally robust, but need to take care of the valve housing cap, as it's plastic. If the cap does fail, it doesn't affect the functionality, as it seems only to slightly deflect any steam released by the valve

Expensive but worth the money. Quiet in operation 2 pressure settings make all cooking simple and fast. Quality stainless construction.

When I moved house and had an electric hob instead of gas I found it difficult to tell the pressure in my previous pressure cooker. I saw Nisha Katona recommended this one because it has a stripe on the pressure gauge so you can tell what pressure you are cooking at. It’s much better and my meat comes out tender now.

Achat en décembre et poignée qui vient de se décrocher du socle pendant la cuisson. Impossible de la raccrocher de soi même. Y a t il une garantie ??

Einfacher, sehr gut verarbeiteter Topf. Ausführliche Bedienungsanleitung. Sollte man aber auch lesen. Z. B. keine Gegenstände aus Metall zum Rühren verwenden. Beschichtung.

He escuchado maravillas de esta marca. Pero la verdad.... no me parece para tanto. No es más rápida que las llamadas normales, llámese mucho más económicas. Para gustos: colores, pero no me ha gustado.
