These are hollow but the plastic they're made from is sturdy. The brown colour isn't far off the traditional "cedar" colour most people paint their fences.These will definitely keep the rain from destroying the end grain of fence posts.

I thought these would finish my fence posts nicely and maybe offer a bit of protection against water penetration. They probably do both a bit, but maybe because they don't match post colour they're not quite the "luxury" garden adornment I hoped for. They aren't expensive at about a quid each, expectations a little too high perhaps, but they're ok, meh.

Good quality fence post caps to shed rain away from the posts with a circular hole to enable a screw to be inserted Size 6 screw for 3" caps and size 8 for 4" posts. Order placed on Sunday 18th at 15.40 - delivered by Royal Mail on Tuesday 20th at 13.30. Faultless process.

Not quite colour expected ( shown on example ) which I thought would have been quite nice. Mine were dark brown so don’t know if packaged incorrectly but they are fit for purpose.

Very disappointing quality so ended up buying real wooden ones in the end. I assumed these plastic ones were solid all the way through but are thin and hollow inside. The wooden ones can be trimmed to size if the post is bolted to a wall but these plastic ones cannot be trimmed to size plus they don't really sit nicely on top of the post because they aren't made of solid plastic

I was so pleased with this product. The colour was perfect for my fence and with the predrilled holes, it was easy to secure.My previous wooden ones disintegrated within a year, these will be great.

Good value and easy to fit used on previous occasions I would recommend this item to prevent rain damage to wood post.
