Q: Will the pillows hold an 8" wrist strap? Bought the Delugs roll and my watches slide around on the pillows

The pillows are 7 3/4”. Your watches may be slightly loose but I doubt 1/4” will be too much of an issue for you. The case has dividers and the pillows slide securely into them which prevents the pillows from moving and keeps your watches from touching. It will also accommodate larger watches in the 50mm range. I am very happy with mine.

Q: Is this a newer version with the softer pillow?

Ordered brown/grey version 2/2/22 and recieved version with very soft pillows. Easily compressed. Accommodate watches sized to 6.75 inches with ease. Pillows are not hard plastic version others have complained about in past.
