These are a nice set of plastic pots for indoor plants. They are visibly thin plastic when viewed up close but can pass for ceramic from a distance and with the lower port facing away.I like how these pots provide excellent drainage and the detachable reservoir can hold a good amount of water.I still water my plants from above since I’m worried that the wick may not effectively allow adequate moisture to reach throughout all the existing roots.

Review of three black plant pots in three different sizes.It took about 10 minutes to assemble all of the plant pots, the directions were a little unclear on exactly how the cotton cord attaches to the inside of the plant pot, but I was able to quickly figure it out. The base is a little annoying to click into place to open or close. But since I only need to do that to assemble it, or to check the water, it was not a big problem for me. It does not seem to come open on its own, the base stays in place once assembled. I have moved them several times, and had zero issues.They are sturdy and easy to move if necessary. I have not been using the bottom watering feature, so I cannot comment as to how well it works. I have planted tomatoes in mine, and they all seem to be doing well, but I do water them every day. It is nice to have a base that the water will drain into and the plant will be able to continue to use that water if I forget to water it.They are nice looking, and I have not had any issues with them, they seem sturdy, I expect they will last at least 3 years.

I've owned self-watering containers in the past and still managed to kill my plants. These appear to be simple yet effective. The water clip is especially nice as it allows you to easily fill the water storage tray through a small opening. The small opening helps reduce evaporation and keeps animals from drinking the water. My plants have been doing well so far. Keeping my fingers crossed!

These work well if you want to bottom water but have animals who you do not want drinking out of the saucers. Because of the design my cat cannot access the water for his cat grass if I use these kinds of pots. I want to add fertilizer to the plants but I do not want my pets drinking it.The clip for watering just clips on, and I find sometimes they do fall off, but not a big deal, easy to reattach.

I really like the style of these plant pots. They are completely plastic, however, they don't look like plastic. They are well made-- the set goes very nicely together-- the bottom snap and screw on-- and the water lip snaps on.My plants look great in the pots--I did notice that certain plants need to be watered from the top-- in order to live-- but my violets and succulents-- love this type of pot!

I have other self-watering planters that you have to lift the main plant out in order to add the water which doesn't seem like a big deal until your plant get bigs. These are a much better solution and as an added benefit they look cool. I love the black, streamlined look.I have a pilea plant that keeps having plant babies so these will be well used. Added benefit, my water obsessed cat can't drink out of these.

Love these pots! The self watering means I stand a chance of not killing my new indoor plants. Easy to setup and they look really nice. Can't wait to see if this is the secret to indoor plants for people like me.
