This mount is spot-on. well made with intelligently added connection for an additional security wire. Exactly what I needed and a bargain.

Using it outside in a temp studio works well and fells strong with my LED lighting

Perfect for standing on the floor as well, using it with their goose neck flexible tube arm for a better height for small light box.

I have nothing to complain about! Works perfectly for what it's intended for.

It does the job, but very expensive for an item that costs pence to make.Sadly they are the only people who sell it, so was forced to order a second one, on both occasions they were delivered late (two days late)Nothing like feeling over charged and messed about, if you can find elsewhere then i advise you do.

I make promotional videos for the amusement industry which typically means filming on lots of roller coasters, naturally this makes me a heavy GoPro user and have to fit the camera in to all sort of unusual and awkward places. So I've been looking at making a custom mount that I could use for attaching not just a GoPro, but also and SLR, to the underside of roller coaster track. Which I why I bought this wall mount.OK I'm not using it for it's intended use, but that shows how versatile it is. I've been able to make a wooden arm that I can bolt to the underside of the track, and this wall mount is screwed to that arm.The centre post with the 1/4" thread is solidly held to the plate, it doesn't wobble in the slightest. So very much suited to use where movement is critical. It's also ideal for permanent installation in a location, where you might also want to extend an arm from it.The plate is supplied with 4 screws so you can mount it, but I've replaced them with bolts for easy and quick removal for transportation.In the interest of full disclosure, I received a discount on the purchase of this Neewer® Photography Photo Studio Video Wall Ceiling Mount 5/8" Stud with 1/4" thread for the purpose of conducting an honest review.

Great quality! Neewer never disappoints when it comes to quality and value. Its a brand i choose time and time again for photo and video.
