Incredibly tippy tea, brews into a fresh, clean tasting Assam with bags of colour and flavour.
This tea is absolutely loaded with beautifully cured dark tips. Not heavily fragrant, it nevertheless brewed into a fresh, clean tasting Assam with a wonderful colour and flavour.It's probably due to the preponderance of true 'tips' that this Assam needs a bit longer to infuse than most. I usually brew for four minutes, any longer and the tannins start to make the tea taste a bit bit astringent, which I don't like.Not so, with this Belseri. This Assam needed a good five minutes to develop its best flavour.If you like a fresh, clean tasting Assam without too much fragrance and maltiness, but still want an 'oooh,' then I can recommend this.

Used this when making kombucha and it came out great. A little goes a long way.

An excellent organic assam
It's not the first time I've purchased and I could say its a bit of a favorite of mine well along with assam mangalam.You'll find it malty and strong with layers of flavours on the palate .

Superb large leaf tea with a fine flavour and bouquet. No dust, just highest quality in every way. If only it were not packed in plastic however - one to work on please if you will, Chiswick Tea Company.

Really tasty tea
Compared to other teas of similar price the quality and taste is great.Something I've discovered with some teas is that they have 0 flavour until the tea is brewed dark but then they go bitter and need sweetened. This tea delivers flavour early in the brewing process without being bitter reminds me of a good ice tea brand. Does a few brews from a single serving too. There was very little powder in the bag with only my last two cups having powder that slipped through my infuser.Will buy again once my current supply runs out.
