Great value for money!
I have bought this for my son for a Christmas present. It was such amazing value for money I couldn't resist. He has just returned from a trip to Japan and was fortunate to see a life sized model of one of the gundams. He will get a great deal of pleasure from putting this together.

Great kit with a cute extra
The Rx 78-2 is a far more straightforward build than more modern gundams like the Wing Zero, Strike, Exia etc. but this kit has a nice addition in the form of the core fighter. You can choose between the core fighter or core block to make the...um...core of the kit, it's not strictly necessary but it adds a new display option if you are willing to put in the effort and bases to accomplish it.

Must own for gunpla fans
I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this but was pleasantly surprised after I had put it together. The build is solid and weighted evenly so I didn't need to get a stand just to prop it up. I've built a few that had so much extra gear on them they were incapable of standing upright but this one is just perfect by itself. Articulation of joints are so so but granted its an old kit I wasn't planning on playing with it and just wanted something on the shelve that looks awesome. The colors are spot on and if you like panel lining there are some details on pieces for that but not lots of it like I see on some of the newer editions. I wish more kits like this were available!

Great Ver Ka set, not for beginers
This is a great set, just be aware, this is an old plastic from 2002, that means you need a lot of effort to make it look clean. Great challenge and also I recommend to buy separately " water decals" for even more wow effect!
