Simple, no-fuss tool that does the job for me in checking neck relief for sitting up my guitar. Some comments say it’s not straight, but I’ve laid it against a piece of granite and it seems pretty flat to me. There’s not doubt better tools out their, but for my needs I can’t justify the money - I’m not going to be a luthier any time soon.

I like the precision of the machining and that you can use this tool over all of the different scale lengths that you might come across if you have multiple guitars. I had been using the truss rod to get rid of string buzz on my Fender Hot Rod Acoustic but I wanted to know more precisely whether I had adjusted the neck with a slight bow, flat or a slight back bow. This tool confirmed for me that I had a very slight forward bow and that is what I actually prefer. Very light material used in this tool. I highly recommend.

This thing is a lifesaver. It's notched on both sides so it will work with both Fender and non-Fender fretboards. It's cut accurately on both sides and is nice and straight so you can really see if your fretboard needs to be straightened or not.

It’s high quality. It does the job it’s meant to do. And it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
