Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology

Book arrived earlier than I expected and has only slight cosmetic damage, e.g., front or back cover slightly bent, minimal highlighting. For a little cosmetic damage, that I would likely have caused myself while using this book, I saved lots of $$$. Would buy again with no hesitation.

This is an excellent source for a basic understanding of Anatomy and Physiology. Just note that any such class requires a lot of memorization. There are a lot of terms, and names for things to remember. This book makes it more interesting my adding stories and relating the information to real life or job situations. It helps to put things into perspective. The images are not always clear, but, when used with the workbook designed for the course, everything comes clear.I was not particularly pleased with the CD's that came with the book, but they do contain all the images from the book as an aid to studying.

I have been getting this book from the library for many months and finally was told that Icould buy it. The book was just like the soft-covered one from the library. However, Iwas expecting a CD in it which I did not find. It's o.k. I am still glad that I got it at a greatprice. Thank you.

A used copy. In good enough condition. Had writing in the book and was worn. Life is mostly easy to understand.

Mandatory book for class

Good book! I wish I would have bought it instead of renting it. More satisfied with this book than most textbooks I have had to get. The diagrams are great and I was able to get unlabeled versions of them online to study with.

I am enjoying learning about human anatomy & physiology in this textbook. I am not a science geek or anything close (sure wish I would have paid more attention in my high school biology class!) but this textbook is full of diagrams, photographs and lots of visual aids to help me learn, what is for me, a very difficult subject. So glad that this is the book used by WGU Washington for the Human Anatomy course.

Very useful book, especially for anybody starting to study any medical profession. Much better than any A Level book. Great service.

As an anatomy book goes this book is quite easy to follow and use. Certainly more helpful and easier to understand than my original text was.
