Good solution as I didn't fancy switching out my whole tv bracket as I would have then had to drill new holes and patch and paint the old ones. My old stand was 200 x 200 but also had smaller holes which I attached these too and managed to attached my LG OLED which had a 300 x 200 configuration. Problem solved and cheap too.

Contrary to most use cases, I have not grown the size of my mount, but the size of my TV's VESA profile.I own an awkward KDL-40WE663 television with a 100 mm (wide) x 200 mm (high) VESA profile which meant that my wall bracket hangers could not be narrowed enough to line up. With this adapter, in two parts, has extended my VESA profile to 200 mm x 200 mm. Each smaller half of the "butterfly" is screwed into the TV and then the wall mount hangers screw into the the large half of the "butterfly". I don't think it makes a difference which side of the plates is front or back. I oriented them in the best way as to leave room for connections on the back of the TV.I would have happily paid another pound if the kit had been supplied with a few more bolts, nuts, washers and spacers. I had to bodge together what I had from previously-purchased mounts. For that reason, it loses a star.

Converted front 200 x 200 to 400 x 400.Fitted a treat easily.

Arrived as described and in a timely manner. Good brackets but they don’t allow access to aerial sockets on the rear of the TV.

I bought a new TV which had VESA points lower than the TV it replaced such that the lowest position was too high. To avoid lowering the mount on the wall I looked for some way to extend the "hangers" and came across this. It was ideal. I mounted each hanger to one of these plates such that the end of the plate fixed to the lowest hole on the TV and the hanger is 10cm higher, almost exactly the distance I wanted to lower the TV. Works a treat and the seller I bought from has a really low price.For information the holes are 8mm and the kit has 8mm screws of different lengths, four 8mm nuts and four 15mm plastic spacers. It also has four 6mm screws, but washers will be needed if these are used.

Sturdy and versatile

Our old telly used a Vesa 200x200 mount pattern, this product allowed me to adapt the existing mount to fit our new telly which has a Vesa 300x300 mount pattern.Was very easy to fit with the supplied fittings.Only downside is that it does block some of the cable ports on the rear of the TV, we only use the optical cable one on that area of the TV and it was tricky to get that connected. Not really the mounts fault though.
