This is a fun costume wig. It's on the higher end of novelty quality. Not like a cheap wig you'd get and wear for a single halloween party and then throw away. It's not professional-caliber like something you'd have made to wear if you are balding and want to look natural in daily life, but in my opinion as a synthetic hair costume wig it's good enough for the run of a community theater or amateur production.I was impressed by the quality of the wig itself.The beard is not made of the same kind of hair or with the same construction quality. It's a low-end novelty beard. But for a single costume outing like a playful halloween party it will do the job, especially if you are going for comedy. If you put this beard on, people will smile and laugh! That's why I got it and it was very successful. I was dressing up as a friend who has this kind of beard in real life, and it was hilarious. So this beard got the job done. But it looks comedic and goofy in pictures, not good for convincing people you're actually bearded, and it would look ridiculous in a stage production if you need a beard for a theatrical costume. Fun for a kids' dress-up box.

Saw this and the picture looked like someone we used to work with so I got this as a joke to mess with our boss. Never bought a wig before so I have nothing to compare it to but it seems like good quality. The beard however did not impress me. For the price though it seems pretty good. Either way we got a good laugh out of it!

In practice, the beard coloring looks quite different than the wig (you can't tell in my pictures either, but you'll just to trust me on this). If you were just to throw the beard on by itself it could be funny, but if you're looking for a set that works well together, I don't think that this is the one.I also didn't think that in practice the wig looked at all styled like it does in the pictures. I'm not sure how much work that they put to get it to look that way, but it was more than I was willing to put in. So, overall, a little disappointed.If I hadn't seen the pictures on the listing, I might have been fairly satisfied with the set. I think I mostly got disappointed because it didn't seem like I was able to achieve the look that they were advertising in the pictures on the listing.

My kids got a huge kick out of this QACCF Men's Hippie Wig and Beard costume. It was fun to put this on and ring the doorbell and listen to my kids chattering about who was at the door. This was also a very good safety test, because they remained out of sight and spoke to me through the Ring doorbell, rather than just opening the door (Yeah!!!). We've had a lot of fun surprising people we know and we're looking forward to incorporating the QACCF Hippie Wig/Beard into one of our Halloween costumes this year.

I am not really sure why we got this wig, but I'm glad we did. My husband will now be 'man with a beard and hair' for Halloween. And honestly, it's hilarious. We've made just about everyone we know try it on, it's the most fun when our kiddo puts it on. Definitely worth the laughs. It's not the softest, but it does fit everyone that's tried it on. The beard is a bit cheesy, but overall lots of fun.

It never came with the beard

If you are looking for a wig for Halloween or dress up, this is a great option. It looks just like the photo and fits well. The wig is very full, and the hair can be syled with hair products if you want to change up the look a bit. The beard is not quite as full as the photo, but it does the job. I did not notice a lot of shedding from the wig, and the hair itself feels great for being synthetic. The wig is not made for large heads, but if you have a regular size head or a smaller head, you can adjust it to fit and it stays on really well. Can do many different costumes/characters with this.

We ended up not using this beard/wig combo; it was just too hot to wear for extended hours at a costume party. It also would have been hard to eat/drink with it on. It looks pretty cool, but we never got a finished product look.
