I got this brush because I wanted something wide and sturdy for my naturally coarse, long hair. I also got the Tymo Ring straightener but it dries my hair out some when I use it. This brush helps to keep my hair's natural oil, soft, and manageable feel when I use it after the straightener, and with daily brushing before styling my hair. I have the square Conair Salon Detangling Brush for when I skip the straightening altogether. Both brushes work great. They are sturdy and comfortable brushes for daily use. The price was awesome. I have been using Conair products for over 20 years, and they never disappoint. Yes, I would recommend them for gifts.

I've been using their brushes since the 1970s and they're as good now as they were then, which is great. Eventually the rubber inset with the metal pins won't stay in anymore, so I buy a new one.

Love it. I have love thick hair and this brush went through my hair light I had not one tangle, yea I'm over exaggerating a little, but it is amazing.

I wear wigs a lot since recently so I wanted a hair brush that works well with my wigs. I came across this wig brush based a previous reviews however it not the best quality but it can get the work done. The bristle falls out easily if the hair is too thick.The brush handle a bit fragile not too strong.My recommendation is you will need to be a bit more gentle so the bristles won’t fall out. This is a 6/10 for me.
