it's good quality rice and a nice portion size, really quick. great time saver.

So easy to cook and perfect consistency. I ate it with chili oil . So yummy.

I have a rice cooker and what not, but sometimes, I don't feel like doing all of that. I've made Nishikis rice in my rice cooker before and it was delicious which is why I opted for their pre-cooked bowls. I LOVE these bowls of joy ya'll!!!! They were decently priced, and super easy to make. All I do is tip the plastic lid off and put it in the microwave for 1 MINUTE. That's it! 1 MINUTE and my rice is heated to perfection and then I add all of my side dishes. I love that there is virtually no cook time involved because lawd knows I can be impatient.😮‍💨 Great quality rice in a minute. I will be purchasing again and again and again.

Delicious stuff, I have it for dinner with some chili oil and I'm looking to incorporate black garlic as well. I'm giving 4* for the price instead of 5*, a little pricey for rice you can make yourself but the convenience of it always wins. I found the rice to be of a wonderful consistency when microwaved for a minute and a half, pleasantly moist and "succulent" as they would say. Very warm, hard not to burn my tongue on it as I eat it because it's too good to wait. However, stirring the grains makes them cool down quickly (I just prefer eating it in scoops right from the package's shape.) Soy sauce on top as well is delicious. Will purchase again.

Much better than other microwaveable rice! Doesn’t have that soggy texture- feels more firm like rice should feel, clumps together like rice normally does (has that stickiness). I actually got it for my dog because he was sick, and stole a couple fork fulls cheating on my diet.

If you are looking for instant Japanese rice, this is it! As a single person, there is no point in cooking rice in a rice cooker since it just goes to waste. Since I have been cooking Nishiki rice for years, I decided to stick with the same brand for instant rice as well. It is fast (90 seconds) and easy (throw it in the microwave). I only eat half a bowl, so it lasts me 2 days. However, there is one thing I noticed, and that is if you eat the rice without having anything to drink or eat, completely on its own, there is a bit of a bitter aftertaste. It may just be me since I didn't see anyone else mention in the review, and I am sensitive to taste. Other than that, I highly recommend these rice bowls to others.
