Have you ever noticed that coasters aren't made in a very practical way? The condensation beads up on the top surface of the coaster and when you pick your glass up you dribble the droplets onto the table that you were trying to protect. These coasters work great. I got them because they match my furniture. I am using them without the stand/ holder because it will scratch up my furniture. I have kids and I can just see them playing with it and that won't end well. But I did place it on my counter with the coasters in it when the package arrived and the holder was uneven so it would wobble. So I recommend it but without the holder.

Visually, these coasters are great, however one of our coasters came without any cork attached. The others have loose edges and I could see the cork eventually falling off.
