A Lovely Pen
I work in an electronics laboratory. Every so often I am hit with either a new issue out of the blue or often the same or a variant of something that I vaguely recall happened a few years ago. So I keep lab books and recently I found an abandoned purple ballpoint in the lab and started to use that. Now I am obsessed with purple ink pens. It turns out this has not just a great shade of purple but also quite nice cyan/pink/orange as well. Also the pen casing is a lovely light sky blue colour. It is well made and well finished and the latching/unlatching action has a good fiddle value. Overall a lovely item for under 4 quid. Just noticed you can get a box of 12 of these for under 15 quid; guess what I am buying next? I cannot find anything I don't like about this pen. Pen quality: OK it's plastic, but very nicely finished plastic. Grip: A light hexagonal grip pattern near the tip is very helpful. Ease of use: Easy and satisfying to switch between colours

All four colours just keep working!
I used to swear by the bic 4 colour pens. They got me through exams, planning meetings and all sorts. The problem is that whatever the ink is that they use for green and red, it's rubbish and they pack up in a week if they're not used constantly. This Pentel doesn't have that problem. No more will I scribble so hard to get the red working that I scratch through the paper! I'm a convert. The mechanism works well and I've no complaints at all.
