Grandson loves it!
Was not difficult to put together. Pretty sturdy. Space below can fit a full size under it if needed. Our mattress is about 7.5" and works well.

Cool bed, but wobbly
It’s a really cool bed and desk set up, and my daughter loves it, but it is really wobbly. We anchored it to the wall using the hardware provided, and that seemed to help. It still wobbles but not as much as when it was first put together. My daughter doesn’t mind though, and that’s what matters.

Not the most solid piece. Scratched wood floor.
We have had this for about a year. When the trundle rolls out it is basically a bed to itself. There is no frame work that ties it to the main part of the bed so it can get fairly out of whack if you have kids rough housing a little. We originally had this bed on a carpeted floor which it limited how much it moved around. We then used it on a wood floor it rolled almost to easy. In addition to it rolling around it scratched the wood floor quite a bit. It wasn't the wheels that scratched the floor it was the staples that attached the felt on the long edge of the trundle. The staples are not set in very good. When a person lays on the trundle it slightly bows the frame so that the staples touch the floor. This may have been alleviated had the manufacturer added a set of wheels to the middle of the trundle.

Does not easily fold with mattress **UPDATED
This does not easily fold up with a mattress. The legs need to be able to fold down completely in order to go back into desk position. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong and the mattress just needs to be manually folded and pushed to the back of the desk portion prior to closing?**Update: I saw this bed on a bed bath and beyond website and it had much better pictures on how to told the bed. And yes, the mattress needs to be folded first and then the rest of the bed folds up flat. Also I now see (after I already bought a mattress) that they even sell tri-fold mattresses. That would work perfectly with this bed.

Terrible quality
This was purchased for my toddler and after a year of using it, it is falling apart. I loved the way it looked and that it had a trundle bed but the quality is so poor. My toddler is only 38 pounds and doesn’t even sleep in his bed every night. The trundle bed broke after pulling it out with the mattress on it, the wood is so bad and it keeps breaking.I was very excited for thins bed but I am very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Looks nice good for kids
The assembly was difficult because the instructions was missing several pages. The wooden bed frame is comprised of several plank wood and is fine for children but would not recommend jumping on it. It does look nice and the trundle can be used as twin bed or for toy storage.
