She's beautiful and well made!
To start, I'm an adult doll collector, and have no children of my own, though I've often shopped for nieces, nephews, and niblings. I would absolutely buy this doll brand for any of them over the age of 4-5 if they wanted them, maybe younger if I knew they didn't put things that aren't food in their mouth. These dolls are high quality and truly beautiful. This is my second Latinistas doll, with my first being Lola, and I couldn't be happier to add Dani to my little collection of beautiful dolls! I expect I'll be adding more in the future. Getting her out of the packaging was a bit of a pain, and I really wish toy companies wouldn't put plastic stays through fabric, but luckily the stretchy material of her skirt doesn't have huge holes in it.Dani, like all Latinistas and their sister toyline, Naturalistas, is similar in size to other 11-12 inch fashion dolls like Barbie and the Integrity Toy Line dolls. They're at a price point similar to Barbie's Fashionistas line, but these dolls are a MUCH better quality than current Barbie offerings at the same price, and they're sturdier, too. Their heads are made of a harder plastic, so you can't do head swapping as easily (you'll need very hot water for that) but with each doll having her own unique skin tone, the only reason to swap is if you're putting her on a different body type.Dani came in a perfect box, for those who like to keep their dolls MIB, and was V E R Y well secured. It took me a little while to release her from her plastic prison. According to the box, she's an 8 piece set (doll, purse, shirt, skirt, two shoes... I guess the earrings are separate pieces?) and her face paint is seriously some of the prettiest I've ever seen even from high end, seriously expensive dolls. No pixelation here! I cannot believe I got her at the price I did!Proportions wise, she's somewhere between Barbie and Rainbow High/Monster High in sizing. She wears Barbie clothes fairly well (Barbie's shoulders are a bit bigger), but her larger hands and feet mean tighter outfits with long sleeves or tight non-stretchy pants won't fit well. Her feet are definitely larger than Barbie's, and more realistic in proportion, and girl has a little bit of muscle definition in her arms and legs, which I love. And best of all? She can stand on her own! She's currently standing on my desk as I type, in her cute strappy heels, and she's barely moving, while the Barbie next to her is wobbling even in her stand. Speaking of shoes, I can say from experience that her feet will fit Rainbow High doll shoes. Her hair is soft, a lovely rich dark brown that combs easily, and her make up is fairly subtle with just a bit of eyeshadow and a lovely warm brown lip.I don't know that I'd give her to a very small child without taking out the earrings first, but this is a beautiful doll any kid OR adult collector could love on for years.

Beautiful and Distinct Black Fashion Dolls
She's super cute. The packaging is really nice like a Barbie doll's which makes unboxing fun. The hair and body are well made and seem durable. I love the boots, though I do feel like the dress could match them better, but that's just nitpicking. These Naturalista dolls are wonderful because they each have their own features and hairstyles. I also bought the Deanna doll, and was delighted to see how different the dolls look from each other. It's like they each have their own kind of beauty.

Great hair!
The hair on these dolls is much better quality than on Barbie’s. Their feet are proportional so they can stand on their own. The only drawback is that since their feet are bigger than Barbie’s, they can’t use Barbie shoes. Hopefully the Naturalista company will eventually put out supplemental shoe packs. These dolls are quite lovely.

Finally, a small doll that represents Latin Americans. Thank you!!!
After all these years, there is finally a doll with my skin color 🥰This doll is gorgeous and well designed. The negatives: I’ll preface that I’m new to buying dolls as an adult, and the materials feel cheap and hard compared to the dolls I played with as a child (90’s and early 00s). The joints don’t bend and there are large gaps in the hair, which are fortunately only visible with her hair pulled back (the default)— BUT I love this doll!! She’s gorgeous. Her facial features and structure are excellent. I like her shoes also, though I am considering altering them to add some color.Barbie clothes fit her, but not the shoes; the bracelet I got in the clothing set she’s wearing is also tight fit. I’m actually very happy to see a doll with more average sized hands and feet. Her hair is silky and there is no fallout (unlike said dolls I had growing up).She has glittery silver heart earrings—I plan to make these gold or else swap them for a pair of doll hoops. All that said, I’m a grown woman and I can’t explain how nice it feels to finally see a “Barbie-like” doll that looks like me. I wish I’d had this as a child; back then, I’d settle with tanned Caucasian dolls or black dolls. It’s beyond exciting to see a representation of a mixed-native woman. And this collection includes even more representations of Latin Americans, which is wonderful.I wish I could thank the company for making these. I’m so happy that girls like me can grow up with dolls that represent them.I hope this company thrives and can continue producing these dolls. I’d love to see the quality improve and to have access to fantastical, cultural, or modern looking, softer, cottony clothes! I’d buy a traditional Mexican dress in a heartbeat. And additional accessories.

Latin Barbie
The new Latinista Barbies are the rage...they are the same size as the traditional Barbie's therefore clothes are interchangeable. They are a nice change from the typical blonde doll; with the darker hair, and olive skin. The dolls are beautiful, and well loved by a young little girl who is a Barbie lover. These are hard to find in the stores, so def order today. I believe in the series, at this time, there are five Latinistas.
