Functional, Realistic, and Better Than Expensive Alternatives
I bought this for IV training at my fire department with our medics, and this kit not only came better stocked than an $900 kit from a medical supply company- the dummy hand was more realistic, veins were more palpable, and the flash through IV catheters was more visible than any of the other kits in our department. Instructions were worthless, but the kit is so simple a truckie could figure it out. Including a generously sized container of fake blood concentrate is a nice touch, too! This is a fantastic training tool and great value. Rather than spending on expensive kits from overpriced name brand suppliers, you can buy enough of these for every squad to have their own arm and still have money to spare- and they work better, too! Highly, highly recommended. Also consider the infant leg and geriatric hand. Both of these are excellent as well.

It's ok
It's ok but it's not really good to practice on because the blood doesn't come out easily when you put the needle in a blood don't come into the tube it comes a little bit then it stops so you have to use a syringe to help it come out it's okay to practice on a little bit but I'd rather get a different one next time I have to use a butterfly and a syringe to get the blood come out if you go and use the butterfly and the tube and the other thing that you have to use it don't work I feel like I just wasted my money yes it's not perfect but it does a little bit get the job done but I want to use the other needles not just the butterfly needle or the syringe but I can't it won't work

great products - we alrady bought more
This was great for teaching IV skills to new nurses . once we saw how well it worked had my hospital buy 3 more plus a couple of arms. The price is great and the quality has been impressive compared to the more expensive brands I have used over the years. Even if these only last a 1/2 with my classes the price is worth it, very realistic skin and veins. Dark hand and arm much more challenging for beginners. FYI - I am a nurse educator for a large hospital and use these monthly for classes.

Who created this junk?
If I could give -0 stars I would. I’ve stuck the ever lasting hell out of this thing and no blood would ever come out. All the valves were open but I didn’t get any blood return in my needles. I’ve gotten blood return from the cheap $15 arms and hands we use at school that looks like it’s been through a wood chipper 78 times. This is NOT worth the $50+ dollars I’ve spent

Finally!
I have been looking for a brown arm/hand to use that was not double the price of the non-brown one. I finally can give a full equitable and diverse, experience to my clinical students.
