really easy to use and work 100% as good as anything
really easy to use and work 100% as good as anything.also, they weigh nothing and are tiny, even when in the plastic case.EVERY CYCLIST SHOULD USE THESEUpdate: 3 years later and I have had about 10 punctures: and every single one has been fixed by this and NOT had any leaks or any problems on my 23 or 25cc tyres at 110-130PSI; I can reliably apply this and then trust that my inner tube is as good as new.ANY REVIEW that says otherwise, mustn't be applying them right- you just need to follow the instructions inside the plastic box. I tend to pump up the inner tube so it is firm and around 2-3cm thick, and then just hold this down and flatten the inner tube at the puncture site, and hold it down flat and evenly for about 10 seconds, and this has always worked. If you read the reviews, people are giving 1 star because they are pissed off about their puncture while it was raining and probably not applied it to a dry bit of inner tube which may be why it hasnt worked... ill stop my rant now- you'd think im getting paid to argue this.

Simple,effective and cheap
I picked up a small thorn on my last outing resulting in a slow puncture on my return home I decided to repair the damn thing rather than replace the inner-tube. (I carry a spare one on my travels)Anyway the whole thing took about 20 minutes. That's wheel off to wheel being replaced. The box contains a small piece of sand paper. (Small) which I rubbed down the area around the hole. Affixed the clear patch let it settle for around 5 minutes and then replaced the inner tube. It really was that simple. To test it I waited about an hour and went for a 2 ½ hour ride on the river bank just had a butchers around 22 hours later and the tire is still happily inflated.Impressed.

They are easy to apply and seem to hold well
The patches work really well on my mountain bike, and hence the 4 stars. They are easy to apply and seem to hold well. Only caveat: The inner tube must be dry, so fixing a puncture in the rain is a challenge.I was less successful with my road bike. Maybe it's the higher tyre pressure, maybe it's the slightly different material of the tubes, I don't know. I struggled to get the patches to hold, and even if they did, they started leaking before long, so I stopped using them for my road bike.

Very long lasting, almost permanent tube fix
After swapping to the scabs I had to change back to these. They are almost a permanent fix for a puncture and don't loose their adhesion in hot or cold conditions (the scabs lost adhesion in 0°C). I run my tyres at 120 psi and have had no problems, unlike the scabs.

Only good for emergency - road bike
I try and keep my tyres at 120psi and there is no way this product will hold at that level, in fact it only hold to 60-70ish which is perfect for an emergency or to simply get back home. For the size of the packaging and simple fact that it is really easy to aply, this is an excellent bit of kit to carry on a bike ride along with a spare tube as this caters for the worse scenario, two punctures.I would imagine this would work well on a mountain or hybrid but for a road bike it is only good as a patch up job until you can fit a new tube.

These are simply the best patches ever
Fast delivery, compact little case easy to carry, and they are just the best patches. Every puncture I have had in the last couple of months I've fixed first time and in about 5 minutes with these. Self adhesive, sticks so well, just no fuss or faff. Totally worth the expense.

Simply doesnt work!
I dont know why everyone is giving this 5 stars. The patches DO NOT WORK. The glue never dries so you get a air seeping out the side of the patches. You can then peel them back off (because the glue hasnt dried) and put on a proper patch that works. These are rubbish and a complete waste of your time and money.

Work exceptionally well for mountain bikes
These patches work very well on mountain bikes, and I have tubes patched with more than six of these without any problems. Unlike the old "vulcanizing" patches that require thorough sanding and using glue in a tube (which is always dry by the time you need it), these come pre-glued. To apply, just clean the tube with the provided piece of sandpaper (or even your shirt if you're out of time), remove the back peel, and stick a patch on top of the hole. Here are a few notes of someone who lives in a place full of goatheads (google for it!) and knows a thing or two about fixing flats with these:* Some people say these patches don't work well for road bikes, due to the higher pressure of their tubes. I don't ride road to verify that, but believe it's a possibility.* The glue is *very* sticky. Avoid touching it with your fingers at all costs, as it won't glue as well in the region you touch. This is a bit tricky, as the patch is very flexible, but becomes easier once you get the hang of it.* Don't try to reuse a patch. If you accidentally stick it in to the wrong place in the tube, throw it away and use another one.* Always empty your tube completely before attempting to repair it! Applying the patch in a stretched (full) tube will cause it to shrink and possibly leak when the tube is not fully inflated (although I have a few in this condition and they never leaked.)* Once you stick the patch to the tube, squeeze it well with your fingers removing every trace of air under it. I normally "stretch" it a bit once it's glued, using my thumbs.* Try to avoid tube seams, when possible. The few cases of patch failure I had happened because the hole was too close to the seam and the seam made it impossible for the patch to seat well. If the hole is close to the seam, prefer to have it off the center of the patch, it if means not patching over the seam.* They will fail occasionally, but at least for me, it's very rare occurrence. Most cases of failures had to do with seams and holes that were just too big. In these cases, a new tube is in order.
