I wanted to change up the look on an older guitar and protect the renewed finish. it does the job, the guitar got a new look and is now would have the scratches from the pick. good value and works/looks good.

I recently purchased a 5-pack of variety guitar pick guards for a guitar that was gifted to me, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. They do exactly what they are supposed to. With a little bit of patience they line up beautifully on a Cort Guitar.

Everything ok. no complain

When saw this product I thought, "5 pick guards for $5? They're probably trash..." and I moved on. Due, to a lack of competition in Amazon's selection for pick guards, I decided to roll the dice on these anyway. I was pleasantly by this product. They are lightweight, but still durable, and have a strong adhesive backing. I try to play guitar on a daily basis and so far they show no signs of wear and tear. I'm sure there are better pick guards in the world but considering these average out to about $1/each, I am a happy customer.**FYI*** There are 2 different styles included in this package. One is the more traditional tear drop shape, and the other has a neat flare to it. However, both are intended for a full body dreadnaught style guitar. I had to trim the one thats on my black cutaway, but it was a simple modification. I drew a faint line with a pencil, cut it with a utility blade, and stuck it to my guitar.

Most of the ones I got had blemishes, I was almost going to return them, but it wouldn't be worth my time. If you get these for any guitar smaller than a dreadnought, you're probably goining to need to cut and file them to fit. Luckily that's easy enough to do, seeing as these are really thin. They don't seem to change the sound quality of the guitar, but I wouldn't put them on any $200+ guitar. I bought these for my travel guitar, which has a laminate top, so your mileage may vary.

I’m happy with the variety of pickguards and they are very easy to install.

If you want to stick it on and be done do not buy these. With that said I recommend these pick guards if you are willing to cut it to fit the guitar. I saw some of the pictures previous people posted and i couldn't believe they don't care how horrible it looks when it's not lined up correctly. I practice cutting it a bit at a time until I got the desired shape to fit the cut out of guitar using one of the extra pieces. After that I was able to cut the black one to fit my guitar. It's not perfect but way better than some of the pictures others have posted that do not line up at all.
