This journal is great for campaigns. I bought these for my group for Christmas and we are now using them to run Strahd. Space for character tracking, npc listing, adventure notes. This is a must for continuing games.

Should say Dungeon Master Journal
It’s got too much extra stuff in it that most player characters don’t need to know. Like as a PC I don’t need to know the initiative order and actually write it down, I’d rather have more space for my feats. Too many character sheets one after another instead of one character sheet and then session notes like it should be. Would’ve given better review had the contents of the notebook been spaced out better.

Worth the purchase.
I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my boyfriend who plays D&D. Excellent journal for him to plan out his campaigns. He was excited and has been enjoying it.

Everything is great, except the fact the there is no space for free notes, where I can plot the history of my World.

Essential for campaigns
Being new to D&D I wanted to come to my first session fully prepped. This book is perfect for keeping track of your characters, campaigns, spells, inventory and even has handy gridded pages for making rough map sketches. Will be buying another once I've run out of room

Poor quality, not as described.
Exterior cover, not gold inlay, covered in greasy finger marks which could not be removed. (Could have been from when picked & packed in warehouse?)Paper inside is thin cheap quality.Whole book 'curled'. Looks second hand.Was bought as a requested Christmas present. Very upsetting as this was the 2nd order; 1st was apparently 'lost' in delivery system. No time to re-order.Update: Totally heartbroken to see the disappointment on my Grandson's face while he tried to act pleased. No response from Amazon what-so-ever...

They said gold inlays but it's clearly yellow. quite cheap like Xerox sheets.
The media could not be loaded. False information Gold inlays is lie it's yellow. And in paper quality is bad. The book is not even worth 2 pounds.
