So, there's not many wide silverware trays on the market. It took me forever to find something that wasn't plastic, one piece, and would fit a 2' drawer. I took a chance on this product and it really does look nice and is built well.For sizing, we took a bit off the back with a table saw, and a bit off the side with a power sander. Wood is variable, and when you get to this level of DIY you're going to need some tools to get it perfect if your drawers are 23" wide. All in all the sizing took about 10 minutes, not bad at all.What this tray is NOT, is a piece of plastic 6" wide that can hold 3 utensils in each tray. It does NOT have rubber feet. It is NOT going to slide around in the drawer. It is high quality wood separator that permanently marries your current drawer. Perfect if your homes previous owners took the insert with them.

My spouse's first reaction upon receiving the organizer was "substantial." This is a well-constructed product that uses metal screws that are flush to the underside of the organizer to fasten the upright slats. Based on your drawer size, you are most likely going to have to trim the organizer down to size. To make precise, straight cuts, I recommend a table saw or a miter saw. I rented a table saw and made three cuts to the organizer pictured. If your measurements and associated cuts are precise, the organizer will fit snugly into the drawer without further work. The only issue I did not anticipate were the sparks that occurred when I nicked one of the metal screws as I was cutting. The table saw cut through the screw with no problem and it did not damage or weaken the organizer, but I just wanted to point that out. Impressed with the quality of this product and will be buying more. My final recommendation -- make sure you make cuts with the proper equipment.

I love these inserts! After a recent kitchen remodel, I originally purchased dividers from a big box store. I hated how much room they took up in the drawer and the extra space on sides and behind. The rev-a-shelf is fantastic! My husband cut to size in minutes, and it's a custom fit. It also happens to match the inside of my drawers so it seems like it came with the cabinetry but much cheaper than buying their version. I have double wide drawers so I used a combination of utility and cutlery inserts. The most challenging part was determining where to cut (this wouldn't be an issue if using one per drawer but since I used 2 in each drawer, I had to plan where I wanted the dividers - no big deal just took some thought!) Couldn't be any happier!!!

Although I did need to trim it to fit, this is the second drawer insert I've purchased from this vendor because the quality of the product is superior.Sturdily built, all wood, the insert provides plenty of space for large kitchen utensil stotage. Insert remains stable when items are replaced or removed. I'd recommend highly.

Perfectly matched our custom cabinets. Loved that we were able to trim to fit to suit our needs. Make sure to measure as this comes in two different heights. This is a solidly built insert. Used painters tape when cutting as suggested to reduce splintering. I bought 4 different drawer inserts from Rev A Shelf and love them all. We paired this with the double knife block drawer insert and it is love!

I wish I’d known about these 7 years ago when I bought my house. I’d tried random organizers from TJMaxx but they were all one size fits most (aka none) and continued to slide around. They also didn’t blend with my cabinets. These look custom and I’m pleased as punch! My Dad cut mine with his table saw and it was super easy. It may seem kind of spendy but can you really put a price on good aesthetics and vibes that make you WANT to be in the kitchen?! So good, buy them.
