This dragonfly solar, hanging lantern is very pretty, whether lit or not, but much prettier lit up. Seems well put together and I look forward to adding it to my garden as soon as spring arrives.

I just received this product, so I am not ready to rate it, as of yet. I am confused about one thing. The information regarding this product says you need 1 AAA battery. I do not see any place to put a battery. I know it's a solar lantern, but why does it say we need a battery? Anybody have a clue? How long can we expect this product to last? without a battery?

I like the size of this and the solar aspect of it; however, I wish it emitted a stronger light. It hangs nicely on a garden hook and adds to the garden flag pole I have in the front yard. I would recommend this to add that extra touch, but if you want a brighter light, this would not be the one.

I love the shadows that cast on this solar fish lantern. It comes with a ground stake to hang it on and it looks so cool once the sun sets. It charges up pretty quickly and lasts for assumingly all night. I love the copper color, it is striking. This would make a great gift for a fish enthusiast.

This solar hanging lantern is so lovely. It casts a beautiful shadow of butterflies. It was larger than expected to my surprise. It is light weight and easy to hang. It can be hung just about anywhere, I decided to use a magnet and attached it to the side of my house. I’m super happy with it.

this was so much larger than I imagined and it is absolutely gorgeous. great price. shipped quickly. arrived in perfect condition. it is lovely and looks amazing in the garden, I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it, and it would make a lovely gift as well.

Metal cylinder with cut out fish silouettes. Internal light inside cylinder shines out thru the cutouts and makes light shadows in the shapes of various fish on the ground, table, or wall. Solar panel on top charges single amber white bulb. Comes on in evening and lasts all night. Make sure switch under cap is set to "On" by moving switch to on and covering top of solar panel with palm of your hand to hide all incoming light. If the bulb comes on white, then you got it on. Go set it in the most direct sun now for 8 hours for its initial charge, and then hang it up or set it where you like and hopefully in that spot you choose it gets enough direct sun. I have a few other silouette lanterns like this and the difference I see is this fish cut out lantern is bigger. Larger in length and diameter. But the image it casts seems dimmer. And it gets too wide.the shapes and blurry the higher the lamp is from the ground. I have the lamp hanging about 6 feet off the ground (I know this measurement because my husband is 6'2" and he hit his head on it and said "Oh I see you got a new solar light.") It is a subtle ambiance lighting. He likes it a lot and that matters because he likes to fish. I think it could be a little brighter the light shadows on the ground, but maybe if the sky around here was a little darker then maybe it would be brighter. Nice classy look to this lantern. Pretty and golden copper by day.
