This cat house is SO cute. It’s way more attractive than the plastic bins I set up for stray kitties. It almost looks like a dollhouse.It is made from real cedar and smells strongly of it. If you are sensitive to smells or just don’t like cedar, I would put the bigger pieces outside for a day or two to air out. I love cedar so I was okay building it indoors the same day I got it.Putting together the house itself took less than an hour. All you need is a screwdriver, everything lined up and went together easily.I insulated mine with reflective insulation and foil tape, which took some time but wasn’t hard, and I’m not handy. I also carpeted the floors with removable carpet pieces and put a heating pad on the first floor. Talk about a deluxe suite!The roof is definitely not weatherproof. I insulated mine and then caulked the areas where water could get through. The outside of the roof is tarred but it could potentially leak at the gaps where the pieces go together.The only thing I’m not pleased about are the door flaps. Mine came bent and are useless—the air just blows right in. I tried adding another layer of “door flaps” with foil tape but it looks dumb and doesn’t work. I’ll have to find an alternative to block the wind.Overall, this is the best you are going to get for the price. I’m really pleased. I’m happy I bought it and hope some strays will have a five star stay this winter and I’m hoping the reflective insulation will keep it cool in the summer.

It was easy enough to assemble, about 20 minutes with a screwdriver. Pretty sturdy and really cute (we put a flower planter in front). We like the slide in/out flooring and side panel doors that make it easy to clean. We put a self-warming bed on the bottom floor. The only issue we have is an eave is missing. There is an email on the packing list so we have contacted them for the missing part, we'll see if they get back to us. This is for an outdoor stray cat (who has adopted us) in a southern climate. So far he has little interest, (even though we've put catnip and treats inside.) We are building a platform underneath to help reduce access by predators. We'll see over time. Otherwise, just as pictured.

Very easy to assemble, and cats love it. Compact design so it does not take up a huge footprint in the kitty condo.

Really cute but smaller than expected. We had a manufacturing malfunction. The boards that hold up the slide out top floor were misaligned. We did not contact customer service due to having it mostly assembled. We just removed the incorrect one and rigged it up. The plastic on the doors are also not great due to them being bent and staying open. They let in a lot of wind of cold air. I added insulation to the inside and will figure out sometimes to replace the plastic on the doors. Overall decent quality.
