A good useful power supply for your model railway. With 12vdc and 16vac outputs to provide an additional source of power to drive points or lights. Minor downside is there is no mounting holes in the terminal pcb WM1, but can be overcome with a double sided cushioning tape and a trap /saddle for power cable. Good product overall.

A useful item, it has a 16 volt and a 12 volt outlet, it is a little tricky to fix as the circuit board is small so cannot be drilled. The problem was solved by holding in place with a nylon tie. I am very pleased with it.

I was nervous to try this for powering my Nest Hello doorbell, but it does work. I simply cut the little cylindrical plug off the end to leave the two wires that can then be inserted into the the little wire extensions (included with the Nest Hello) that attach to the back of the doorbell. Very simple with some wire cutters and strippers. Only 4 stars as it does buzz, but it is a very faint buzz that wouldn't be audible from a couple of meters away even in a silent room. This will be going in my cupboard so I won't hear it, but I wouldn't want it within 1 meter of a quiet place where I spend a lot of time however faint the sound is. Overall, I am very happy that I've saved £150 by not paying a Nest Pro and I would definitely recommend this product for the Nest Hello.

Provided you don't overload the power supply, the addition of a 12v DC transformer to a 16v AC supply means one can add extra lighting, arc welding, flashing lights, and so on as well as the primary use for the 16v AC eg heavy duty CDUs for points, without the need for an additional 13 amp plug.
