Rhode Island Novelty 9.5" Heirloom Laying Sabertooth Tiger 1 Piece

I have always loved cats, and while sabertooths were not technically cats, I thought it would be fun to own a stuffed toy version of one. This particular little guy’s sweet look caught my eye. It was my fault for not paying attention to the size of this plush when ordering it, but when it arrived, I was disappointed in how small it was. But that would prove to be the only disappointment. This is a very, very cute little plush. It is well made, and it really does remind you of a Smilodon cub in a stylized fashion, with its baby spots and just-sprouted “sabers.” The only thing that needed to be fixed on it was that the ears had been squished back flat down against the sides of its head, probably during storage, so you couldn’t see them. I just wrapped a rubber band around the head that pulled the ears forwards, and left it for a couple of days, and this put them into a better position. They look fine now. The little “cat" is nice and soft and is very huggable. It has a very endearing, slightly anxious expression. If only it were a little larger, it would be perfect. All in all, despite the item’s small size (again- my mistake) I am quite pleased with my purchase.

This stuffed animal is very cute. My five year old’s favorite animal is the Smilodon, but there just aren’t many choices for stuffed animals. I was relieved to find this one, though nervous about the lack of reviews. It is very cute and true to the picture. My five year old loves snuggling with it, though I wish it was a little softer (or floppier maybe? The fur is indeed very soft, but I wish the stuffing was just slightly softer). My kiddo loves it, though! I wish I could rate it 4.5 stars, but given how much my child enjoys it, I’m giving it a full 5 stars.

I bought this adorable brown plush tiger for my grandson. He loves it! It is soft and cuddly, great for a 3 year old to carry around under his arm. Perfect buy!

I was worried it would have that cheap corse fake fur feel but it ended up being really soft.

My daughter said that the picture made him look bigger. He’s a small size. Not tiny, maybe the size of a cat IRL. Still cute. The fur is nice and he looks every bit the same.
