A NIFTY HALF CENTIMETER MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE… WHO KNEW!?!
AUOPLUS - 12+4 Surge ProtectorI bought this 12 outlet Surge Protector because like many things you just can’t have enough outlets. I’ve bought several of these combo outlets with 6 to 12 power outlets and several USB outlets. The USB ports are always handy because you’re just plugging in the USB cord and not the adapter. Without the benefit of dedicated USB ports, you inevitably (at least I do) end up losing the usability of one or more of your power outlets due to various other bulky and oddly shaped power plugs.I would like to say that I have great foresight and that is why I chose to buy this particular item, but that would not be the case. I purchased this same brand, but half this size surge protector several months ago and I love it. My initial reason for buying it was that it had several normal power outlets and a handful of USB outlets, it was small enough to mount it under a shelf, it had a long power cord, and it was very affordable. I have not been disappointed. When I went hunting for something a little bigger I thought back to the small one that I got a few months back and I was led to this one. It looks standard, lots of manufacturers make one that looks similar to this one. The great foresight that I mentioned previously can be given to the manufacturers. One of the things I HATE about typical surge protectors like this one is the fact that inevitably you lose one or two spots or your cords get are bent funny because there is never enough space between each outlet for all different sizes and configurations of power plugs and wall warts. Some manufacturers chose to skip a space at the end and put a big gap between the last row and second to the last row of outlets, the idea is to allow space for those oddly spaced plugs and wall warts. These guys know my pain and they chose to do something about it. Instead of a big gap at the end, so two ports can house large plugs, they put a .5cm gap between each port. When I first saw this gap that encompasses each plug in the shape of a little house I just dismissed it as decoration but these guys are frick’n geniuses!!! I am an Art Director and Designer by trade and so many times some of the most innovative changes in what we perceive as the typical design is often a simple tweak to what we take as normal or standard design. Often that tweak increases the usefulness of a product significantly.Once I realized that this additional .5cm gap was intended to improve a commonly used design, I set out to disprove it and pack the plugs in such a way that I wouldn’t be able to use one or more ports or at the very least the plugs or cable would have to be jammed slightly sideways or bent in a way that would make the addition of this .5cm unnecessary. As you can see by my photos, I used all of the standard type plugs, cables, and wall warts to fill all of the empty ports, and not one of them is touching another and none are place crookedly or jammed/bent to make it fit.So hats off to you, you’ve made a great device, it is far cooler than I had originally thought and it is very affordable. So now all I need is for you to make a “UPS battery backup” that is as great as the two AUOPLUS surge protectors that I already own. The one I have is very old and barely hanging on. So I don’t think any device is perfect or can be, so holding back a perfect rating and rating something down because it didn’t hit that unattainable “PERFECT MARK” is ludicrous, that said, this surge protector is a must buy and it fits all of the standard plugs I could throw at it, you guys deserve this score… now go get started on my UPS SURGE SUPPRESSOR!!! ;)

Great travel power strip
This power strip is light, compact and easy to use and easy to pack up. It is a great addition to my backpack for my laptop when traveling. Lots of hotels have USB-A ports available now, but my watch charging cord only comes with a USB-C connector, so having both connection types is convenient. Also having AC plugs on top is great for my charging adapters and power bank, which are a little bulky and heavy and sometimes want to fall out of a vertical outlet.

Work as expected
This power strip is working as expected. The 4 USB Ports save me alot of headache by looking for my USB power to connect my USA devices. For traveling, it is too big for me.

I take the travel power strip on every trip now.
The 3-ft Travel Power Strip folds up easily to take on a trip and comes in handy in hotel rooms that have out-of the way plugs. I just put this in an easy-to-see spot so that I won't forget it and can plug anything into it. It is grounded, also, so I have confidence in it.

Very compact for portability on trips.
I need something that was compact and able to provide at least 4 USB ports and two AC outlets. The second outlet is important, to add an additional outlet to convert the normal double outlet to a net of 3 after using one to power the unit. Having the cord wrap around the unit is a very nice touch. It is one of the important reasons I selected this adapter. It works great and is well worth the money.

Does the job
This is a well designed and handy extension cord. The output is strong enough to power a macbook and small enough to slip into the pocket of a laptop case.
