Laser bed saved my picnic table!
The XTool Pro laser bed was a lifeline for me. I recently bought it and was having a brain fog attack. I was trying to engrave a mascot on acrylic, when I forgot and put up my laser on a picnic table outside without protecting it. Thank goodness, I realized my mistake in time to save my table from being destroyed. My laser work was made more steady and secure by the XTool Pro laser bed, which turned out to be a necessary tool. It provided me with peace of mind while working, in addition to saving my picnic table. I feel It is an important addition for anyone using laser equipment.

Every bit as good as the xTool honeycomb at a much better price.
I have two xTool D1 lasers. Bought the xTool honeycomb for the first one, decided to try this one for the second one because it's much less expensive. It works great! The aluminum sheet was bent at the corner when it arrived but I was able to pound it out and make it work.

KNOCK OFF THAT SAVES YOU MONEY
I'm just getting into laser engraving as a hobby - and found some of the support products a little too expensive - especially as a newcomer.This knock-off will save you some money - and it provides the same support you need for backing your project and protecting your bench/table. The honeycomb comes with four plastic corner pieces for scratch protection of your tabletop and a separate aluminum panel (~1/16th thick) under the honeycomb.The work surface is 17" square, with white ruler markings on the facing edges. The entire footprint is 20" square.

Packaging could be better
I like this honeycomb. It seems pretty sturdy. The packaging could be better. The aluminum sheet came bent. I flattened it out as best I could. I would prefer if the metric measurements were on the inside of the frame rather than the outside. The magnets are too thick to use with my laser, but at least it comes with magnets.
