This RC plane is incredible!
This RC plane is fantastic! It was available for less than $100 during prime days and I’m blown away that you can get a genuine working airplane for that price. It comes with two batteries and if both are fully charged you can fly the plane for about 35-40 minutes. The plane also has a beginner mode and expert mode, where an internal gyro will help stabilize the plane in beginner mode. It also has one button aerobatics like barrel rolls and flips. It also has a quick takeoff mode to help get the plane up in the air. The body is very sturdy styrofoam and the propeller is designed to break away in case of a crash. Keep your eye on where the propeller is if this happens! Fortunately, the plane comes with 4 propellers… two dual blade and two quad blade. I highly recommend this, it’s been so much fun and after a session or two with the plane it starts to feel much more natural flying it. Go to a local school with a football field and have fun!

Amazing little plane
This plane worked better then I imagined and has taken a beating. Its been 10 years since I have flown rc planes but was able to pick this up and fly it almost immediately without a hiccup. Had the 60 sized version of this plane and loved it and love this one as just as much. Its fast, and tracks fairly well even in a slight gust. The expert mode is too much and almost uncontrollable so I fly it on normal and medium. Its fully capable of flying in a sizeable back yard if you are good with rudder input at full throttle. It can be flown slow but do not recommend if you are a beginner and have a hard time with feathering the throttle. I fly this in my back yard around trees to have more fun. If you are a beginner use the 4 blade prop, it helps with slower speeds where as the two blade prop needs to be flown faster. Either way, you wont be dissapointed.

Awesome Little P-51 That screams "MERICAAA" but has some quirks
first off, this plane is NOT for beginners, but it is really really good at teaching your rudder and Alron coordination. second off, this things servos are quite responsive, and the roll rate in advanced mode is decent, but it does not do a knife edge without you changing the linkage on the rudder. Since adjustments for the control surfaces are NOT adjustable on the transmitter, I mechanically adjusted it myself by moving the linkage from the farthest out hole on the servo horn and the farthest in hole on the control horn. this plane is made out of quite durable foam, the nose section is strong, but at a fault because the motor box slowly gets pushed in due to repeated crashing. if you are going to crash, try to crash on the grass because if you crash on the concrete, you WILL break a prop and shaft adapter. I would say that the removable prop on crash feature is amazing. the vertical power and performance is impressive for having a brushed motor. the 4 bladed prop on this plane produces more drag and looks more "scale" but the two bladed prop in my experience gives a little more performance but looks less scale. I love the patriotic color scheme in the "miss America" option. makes me go hell yeah. the gear has been great, although on the second flight, I landed hard and tore the gear off. luckily, I jus used some hot glue and it was good as new. ground handling is great for a smaller plane, the gyro is perfect, the top speed of this plane is probably around 25ish MPH, which is not blazing fast, but it is nice. the parts that I do not like is the lack of flaps, proprietary receiver and Esc combo, brushed motor, and no motor area reinforcement. one flight characteristics I would want to warn any buyers about is if you are flying inverted and try to stay inverted and pull out of a loop, the elevator authority is NOT enough, and you WILL crash upside down. besides that, this airplane does tall if you yank and bank, and you do not always have time to power out of it. VOLANTEXRC, if you are reading this here is what can turn this from a four-star review into a five star "you must buy" 1. include a plug and play option for cheaper, ideally $70-$110 that allows you to use your own receiver. 2. try to make a brushless conversion kit so customers don't have to buy the $199 brushless version of this. 3. add flaps for slower flying. 4. more control throws. 5. sell official spare props for under $5, they will definitely have a chance of selling like hotcakes. OVERALL, this is definitely worth a buy. seriously, one of the best smaller planes on the market, as your second or third rc plane. go buy a high wing trainer if you are looking for a first rc plane.

Flight performance
I would say that the Volentex P-51D Mustang is a very good begginer aircraft! It's highly maneuverable at low-mid speeds, it has exceptional speed for such a small and compact Rc aircraft as well! Would highly suggest low-mid speeds to get the feel for the maneuverability, as it may br difficult for some to control at higher speeds. It also worth to note for beginners that the gyro should be on! To receive more info upon the Rc plane, I would suggest going online for any tips and tricks that you should know!

Easy to fly, Durable, and flat out fun!
I have always had an interest in airplanes, but thought that flying an RC plane was diffucult, expencive, and scary. With the Volantex P-51 Mustang it is so simple and easy to get the plane in the sky and control it easily. The plane has a gyrostabilizer that will keep the plane level in flight and will allow you to fly in slightly windy conditions. The controls are easy to understand and very responsive. I had never flown an RC plane before (had years of video game experiance) and I was able to fly without a problem on the first flight. Even though the plane is easy to fly, I have crashed it a few times into buildings and trees and there is very little sign of damage, the only thing you will see is some scuffed paint. The compact styrofoam that it is made from allows crash landings and proprellers to come off, and you are back in the sky in minutes. There is no set up and no building of your own, just put 4 batteries in the controller, charge the batteries for the plane, and off you go right out of the box Some thing to note: on some phone chargers that I have tried, the "charging" light flashes red and takes forever to charge the battery, but in other chargers, the light will stay a solid red and charge the battery in around 45 minutes. Something that confused me at first. All in all, a great plane, easy flyer, and well worth the money to start an amazing hobby

The gyro for the stability is very good. The quality of the plane is excellent. The battery is giving me almost a 10 minutes of continuous fly time.

My first RC Plane and it seems great to learn with. Durable, since I’ve crashed it several times already. The propeller saver does its job perfectly, but does break if hard enough of a hit. There are spares but I will definitely need more. The stability is incredible for such a small light plane.
