Little Bird

I am in love with the work these two artists put in to create this book. The original song immediately struck a chord, and when I saw the illustrations that had been added had been turned into a whole book well I dropped everything to buy it! The words and pictures come together beautifully to remind us to celebrate who we are, as our true selves. Thank you to both artists for this wonderful addition to our home library!

This book is a heart-warming tale of a bird trying to fit in with the world around him. Emily’s writing pulls at your heartstrings while McClay’s art beautifully encapsulates the stunning world and personality of Little Bird. McClay certainly is a young budding artist to watch— I cannot wait to see what is in store for them next in the illustration world. I am so grateful to have received this book to share with my friends and the youth in my life. Little Bird is an inspiring tale for the ages <3
