AMAZING! Wish they had all the models! Waiting for the Ultra next!
ITS WHAT IT IS! A fun coding platform with much room for expansion. There are other models as well but the price starts to get wacky! This for what it is, honestly perfect! Few things to consider, it is metal...the motors are strong...IT WILL PINCH your fingers! Thats on me for being impacient. Anyhow so far so good Ive been getting attachments and guna slap on different Ai face modules and see how it goes.

Didn't work without the micro:bit
Could have been user error on my part but I needed the micro:bit to get it to work. And it's rather impressive I have to say. Performed the 1st micro:bit m-block code I downloaded flawlessly.

This little dog is almost SPOT on⦠almost
Out of all the consumer-grade robotic quadrupeds, this little guy is about as close to Boston Dynamics mechanical mutt that youāre going to get without spending tens of thousands of dollars. High quality hardware driven by very impressive software (kinematics), with a TON of potential for further development, expansion, and upgrades. The problem for me is that they advertise the āXGO liteā, or āXGO x:bitā (which is half the price of the āXGO miniā, but does not come with the K210 AI module, screen, or camera) can even be controlled/programmed using an Arduino or Raspberry Piā¦(From the Elecfreaks website)āExpand RichXGO micro Robot Kit can be connected to other masters such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi for secondary development, and can also be connected to other sensors, such as ELECFREAKS Smart AI Lens Kit, ELECFREAKS Octopus MP3 Player Sensor, etc.āUnfortunately, there are absolutely no instructions, WiKi pages, YouTube videos, Instructables, etc. on how to accomplish this. Absolutely nothing. When I contacted the company and asked for more info on how I could control the robot using my own microcontroller or RasPi, or if I could possibly purchase the AI module with the screen and camera separately and install it myself, they were unable to help me with either request. Why is why I dolefully had to return mine. I would have loved to plug a RasPi or even a BeagleBone into this thing and gone to town. Heck, I would have even been cool with just being able to purchase the AI module separately. Not being able to do EITHER?⦠Sorry, but thatās gonna be a deal breaker for me. Itās unfortunate too, because I feel like this robotic quadruped has some real potential for further development.

DOES NOT WORK!!!!!
We are so disappointed! This is a small country school with a brand new robotics club. This was a very expensive purchase for us (we did fund raisers). The dog would not even turn on after charging. We opened him up and found several loose wires, etc... We connected them, and now he turns on maybe 2 times and then will not turn on unless we open him up and toggle the reset. Then he will turn on 1-3 times and repeat the needed reset. This is unacceptable to new programmers! We don't know if the bugs we have are ours or the dog's..... We would LOVE this thing if it worked! We would LOVE to get a new one and send this one back! Please tell me how!
