The noise is tolerable, and the fountain works well. I fill it once a day and it lasts all day and that’s with 2 cats and 1 75lb dog drinking from it! It’s on the cheaper end for these stainless steel bowls but it works flawlessly. My cat who loves to play in water cant push this one around and make a huge mess. Very easy to clean and doesn’t get as slimey. Only downside is that you have to unplug it and carry the plug and fountain to the sink.

This is my second time purchasing as we needed to replace an old different water fountain. I love how clean the water stays and the cats are not afraid to drink from it.

So the good: The unit is quiet, and fully stainless steel without a lot of nooks and crannies or complicated parts for easy cleaning. It has a big reservoir and a nice area for kitty to drink out of. It's even raised up so they're not trying to drink off a floor-level bowl. It's nicely made and really checks all of the boxes except one -- my cats won't use it. Now I can't completely blame this unit for that, my cats are weirdos, but they do have another waterfall fountain which they use so it's not like they're totally anti-automated-waterers. Its just for whatever reason they've decided this thing is not to be trusted. And it's been sitting there, ignored, for weeks. So, I'm only pulling one star for that since I can't really say that NO cat will like this, but mine don't seem to. YMMV. Like I said, they're weirdos.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. The machine stopped pumping water after 5 months. What a piece of junk. The suggested trouble shoot instructions don’t even match the machine. Wish I could get my money back NEVER BUY

Got for my cat, after about a month i noticed the pump was not as strong as it was out of the box. 2 months after purchase now and the base has to be almost totally full for the pump to work, which results in spilling water all over the place when i want to move it or pick it up to refill/clean. Overall i do regret buying this.

This item is perfect. Zero Noise, Perfect Height for our small pet. Does Not Splash water. Subtle water aeration.

This water fountain is stainless steel, so it's less likely to become contaminated over time. And the pump works great, as does the filter...the water stays pretty clear and free of debris thanks to the filter. Be sure that if kibble or pieces of pet food drop in it, you get that out asap, because the "return" on top that the water feeds into the filter is a thin slot, and the bits of food will clog it and cause it to back-up and then overflow!The fountain is very easy to take apart, clean, and reassemble. Be sure to purchase extra filters for the fountain, and personally, I clean and change the fountain water about once per week, and more often if I see debris building up in the top reservoir.My small dog and my cat like the fountain, and the size of it is spot on if you have smaller pets. Oh, and I'd like to mention that the filter replacements are pretty cheap, and come in multi-packs containing 8 to 10 filters...(Amazon carries the filters, and if you don't mind waiting about 2 weeks to receive, "Temu" sells an 8 pack of filters for even less than Amazon!) Anyway, I recommend this stainless steel pet fountain for the money; it's well worth it.
