These are definitely hard to break but are great. Our son used them right away on projects.

This product is poorly designed. “T” and “Y” connectors only connect one way. Not possible to make a doll skeleton.

I used these we neck support for crochet dolls.

I managed to make it work through some creative use of extra tools I had, but 9.5mm pliers don't work with the joint pieces, only the ball-socket pieces. As the listing clarifies, 9.5mm is the OUTER dimension, but the inner dimension is closer to 6mm, which seems to be too small for any of the pliers I've been able to find here on Amazon. However this was the biggest armature that would even fit inside the project I bought it for, so I am glad armature this small exists! Also pay close attention to the joints. You are not able to build a full doll skeleton with this set. None of the joints have a socket to allow you to connect multiple jointed segments together. I made it work for the project I got this for, but it wasn't a fun realization. I also had one of the joint heads snap off when I was pulling apart a segment I had attached.

These armatures were perfect for the doll that I was inserting them into. Great quality and easy to pull apart with the tool.
