For my purposes it works well - I use it to pull a car up onto ramps for servicing because I don't want to take a chance of driving the car off the end of the ramps. This is a lot safer! And the nylon 'cable' is a good choice for a lighter duty winch like this because it's a lot easier to live with the nylon than it is a metal cable which is stiff and 'un-cooperative'. It comes with hardware to mount the winch to a plate (also included) or to some other base; it seemed to me that the supplied bolts were either too short or too long - a middle width to replace what came with it would have been better. It's not a big issue though and I won't take off a 'star' for that. If you can use a light duty winch, this one will do the job.

Very good quality, rope cable seems to work better then metal one. Controls easy to use.

Seems like a decent winch. It picks up my snow plow. My only complaint is the wires are short. If you have a utv plan on needing to extend the wires.

This is a solid winch. After a summer of using it to pull out the roots of bushes, and when it was slightly out of warranty, it suffered a small failure when the drum locking mechanism failed. I contacted Zostera for advice on how to fix it. Instead, they sent me a whole new replacement winch, even though the original was out of warranty. Their response to my inquiry was immediate (the same day). This is a company with very good products, and more importantly one that stands solidly behind their products. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

I’m using this for a non-normal job of pulling my plane up a slight incline and back into the hanger. Post knee replacement my ability to push it up hill has been a little diminished. With the cordless control in my hand this winch is perfect. Not to fast and in fact it is a bit slow but I’d rather have it slow than too quick where I need to worry about possible damage. The remote was very responsive. No delay during the start or stop.

Item is exactly as pictured, seems to be well built. It drags trees off the trails with no problem .

So far the winch itself has worked really well, but the controller leaves something to be desired. The buttons aren't great and the wires are too short for almost anything. I very quickly added an aftermarket wireless controller that made it way more useful.

le cable pour connecté le treuil est un peut trop court et le cable d'acier a cassé prêt de l'attache après 2 utilisation du treuil ,je l'utilise pour le vé ma souffleuse a neige ,le cable d'acier étais mal pressé
