Love this protein powder. I’ve used the Active Stacks chocolate powder in the past, but this is my first time trying the vanilla. The taste and texture are great—I blended it with my mini frother and it mixed together easily. Trying to limit processed foods so I appreciate the short ingredient list, and the beef protein is non bloating compared to whey or pea proteins. I’ll definitely order again.

Surprisingly good tasting protein, IMO. Very thoughtfully designed. The simple ingredient list with low carbs makes it a flexible base to build a shake from. I myself am not intolerant of dairy, but nevertheless I like having the option of diversifying my protein sources. I mix this with regular milk, but this way it's not *so much* dairy protein as it would be with standard whey. It tastes like a milkshake. If my kids see me making it they start bugging me to make them some too. It's a bit slow to mix with regular milk, but then I've never encountered a protein powder that dissolves easily. I typically will mix it a little bit, let it sit while I do something else (get changed from my workout, take my creatine, or something), then finish mixing it. I'm sure you could just use a blender. Been supplementing with Active Stacks products for a couple months now, and seeing great gains. Highly recommended.

I got this after loving their vanilla collagen powder in my coffee every day and I also make ice cream with it because it's got such great ingredients. Come to find they have vanilla protein powder so I wanted to try it in my ice cream for even more protein! They absolutely nailed it again on taste. It's a guilt-free way to pack tons of protein into a delicious treat and you can't beat the quality. I just toss it in a blender for a few seconds with some milk and cream and it's done and ready to freeze for delicious vanilla ice cream.

The taste is pretty good, works well in a smoothie. Unfortunately it doesn't work at all in a shaker with water, the power all clumped together and the water got super foamy.

This is really good. Knowing it's from beef is interesting, as there's not the slightest hint of a meaty flavor as one might expect. I think the real vanilla bean is much more mild and pleasant than the stronger artificial vanilla flavor in most whey protein. I mix with 2/3 room-temp-to-luke-warm water in a blender bottle, and I noticed that it's really frothy, then top with cold milk (slurp off some of the foam) and give it one more shake. It's a nice rich, mild vanilla-milk flavor that's also thirst quenching, not too sweet. Some ppl said it doesn't blend well, but using room temp water was fine for me with the shaker bottle. I also appreciate the added Glycine, since I normally add that to my other protein powders and don't have to with this.
