I needed this jar for soaking my Markus Rothkranz sea moss, and it works perfectly! The 1-gallon size is excellent, the wide mouth makes it easy to use, and the black plastic lid seals well. The glass is sturdy and high quality, and I really appreciate that it’s BPA-free and made in the USA. Delivery was very fast too—overall, a great product that I’m very happy with!

For $11 this is a very sturdy, high quality, easy to clean jar. It has thick glass and I use it to ferment kombucha. The lid is plastic with a seal that fits into it, like a plastic rubber, which I believe you can also buy replacement seals if you need to. It's versatile, you can use it to ferment and carry liquids or something that you don't want to get wet or exposed since it's airtight. In all, it put on a good performance well and it's affordable so I would recommend.

Very solid, sturdy jar for storage or fermentation. I was looking forever for a gallon sized glass jar and finally settled on this one. It did not disappoint! And I disagree with other viewers calling it cheap quality. Glass breaks. I think this is great quality.
