Looks exactly like the original NES but smaller.
This kit is excellent and looks very similar to the original NES. You do need to install the scripts to get the power buttons working but it comes with instructions telling you how to do this.

Nice Case.
Nice piece of kit, just realized their is a fan header inside the case. So red wire goes towards plus and black minus on case fan header I presume (from the fan). As usually red = + and black = - no instructions so presume this is correct. Found an easy way to remove plastic layer on heat sinks (use Cellotape so it peels off leaving the sticker then place on pie). Please note fan comes with four screws u only need 3 as case only has 3 screw holes but it holds fan securely in place. Finally don't screw to tight as you don't want to screw through the plastic on the case when attaching the fan. Supplied screw driver kinda of does job but I used my own (only complaint I have and not clear on instructions how to fit fan so 3 pages instead of 2 would be a good idea).

Retro styling - perfect for retro gaming
Fan is a little bit noisy. Case is perfect for RPI. Shutdown and reset buttons work great with git-hub script. Very attractive package. Looks just like a tiny NES

Top choice for the raspberry pi 3 a+ with its in built USB hub
Great case, works perfectly with my raspberry pi 3a plus also, and very usesdul as it extends the one USB port on the pi 3 a plus to 2 at the front with its in built USB hub. Cooling is great also. Would highly recommend this case for the raspberry pi 3 a plus, and others.

Ok case.
Really wanted to love this case. It certainly looks the part, looking almost exactly like a mini NES (I have the real one right next to it).Fitting instructions are a bit poor, and you will need to just use your head. You need to fit the inside connectors to the Pi, first, then put the pi in the case. The fan header is a bit higher up near the GPIO pins, and (like others have said) red to +, and black to -.It's all a bit fiddly, if you have large hands then this will need careful fitting, or you may get frustrated. Now for the not so good. Screwing the whole thing together is probably one of the worst things I've done for a long time.It seems that no matter how much you tighten the screws, the case just never quite fits together and you can slightly pull apart the case. I have tried and tried to tighten the screws and can never get the case to fit tightly together. So I have opted to just use 4 screws, not the 6 supplied, and it's together but not tightly. You have to wonder quite why this needed to be so small. Surely it could have been just a bit bigger, then not only would you still have a nice small case, but you would have a bit more room in there. And, with a slightly bigger case, you could sort out the way it's screwed together. One MAJOR thing I have found is this. And this is mentioned in other comments. IF, you use the included fan - this is the reason we bought this package in the first place - you might find power issues. With the fan connected, I get problems with the USB ports, and nothing is recognised in any of the ports. Unplug the fan, and I can use a wireless keyboard and a Hori Arcade Stick. I am using the official PSU, so it can't be that. I'm not going to use the fan because it's not getting very hot with the included heatsinks attached, even after a few hours of MAME.One second major edit:The Micro SDCard, can be a real pain to remove and fit. But it's the fitting of the sdcard that will frustrate many, it's way too easy to ever-so-slightly miss the connection and the card ends up rattling inside the case. Of course, you then have to open the case to get the sdcard out. I have frustratingly done this many times now, it's far too easy to do this.

Awesome
Easy to install, the soft shutdown option is a must, and it's pretty easy to add, too. Looks great on the shelf and now I can finally play SNES Zelda whenever I have a chance.

Destroyed my pi and SD Card
Instructions are terrible, no explanation regarding safe switch. Followed each step, unit smoking as soon as power turned on. Through persistence managed to get gaming working for 5 mins. Put housing together immediately stops working again not recognising controller. unplug everything and try to run normally. Pi now overheats instantly, and sd card / pi now wont recognise pads. Whole set up ruined by this unit!!! avoid

Superbly Done!!!
Well you get everything thats described, when put together, everything works even the safe shutdown button works great. The reason i gave 4 stars is for two points:1st. After installation of the fan you get this slight rattling noise from time to time (not always) even after putting the screws and dampers but definitely keeps your pi cool.2nd. Only when everything is up and running connecting and unconnecting to the usb port's on the case creates a static (noise lines) on screen (not permanent). I tried a more powerful power supply and got the same results. So all in all this case is great for keeping your pi safe and cool with functional safe shutdown button, the case design is superb definitely recommend to anyone.Happy Gaming!
