Excellent product, strong and sturdy. It was easy to install single-handed and the instructions, although a little wordy, were quite clear. I would suggest doing a Google search for the video showing the installation first. Also, I would recommend buying a can of silicone spray to make the sections slide more easily.

Much better than the 3 section types. I needed a ladder that didn't take up too much space in the loft when retracted and this does the job very well. Installed on my own with ease and very happy with it. Well worth the extra money.

This is the second one I have installed. The first in my house and the second in my sons flat. That in itself says something. Installation is reasonably easy, fitting a dropping loft door can be more challenging. The You tube installation videos are worth checking out alongside the supplied instructions. It can be done as a one man job but easier with two. One word from the wise, make sure the beam you attach the mounting brackets too is horizontal or the feet of the ladder don't touch the ground together. Once installed it is fairly easy to put up and down. It feels very safe to stand on and has a very small footprint in the loft when folded up so is very good if space is limited to fold the ladder into. Not cheap but highly recommended.

Very strong and sturdy, not like most aluminium loft ladders. Very easily assembled both with a video to watch here on Amazon and a very easy to understand instruction book. Smoothly slides in and out of the loft. Not too heavy and small enough that if you don’t have a lot of height into your loft, this doesn’t require much of an arch. I highly recommend, Very pleased!!!

If a loft hatch was specifically designed to make fitting a ladder difficult it's ours - hard up against a wall, lots of structure either side of the hatch and 2.9m from floor to loft floor. However, this ladder did the job extremely well as it only requires a 235mm clearance in front of the ladder in the loft to accommodate the top of the ladder when tipped up. The installation was straightforward and the instructions are very clear and available online which allowed me to make sure the ladder would fit our difficult situation before buying.The ladder looks and feels very well made and feels very secure to use. The telescopic construction makes this ladder rather heavier than the simple 2 or 3 section sliding types but this is a small price to pay for such a compact design. If I have a criticism it is only that the pole/hook provided is a bit short for such a long ladder but that is easily resolved.
