This battery does not provide enough power to the computer. My secondary hard drive started powering down mid-use and failing. How do I know it's the battery and not the hard drive? I physically removed the hard drive and run only the SSD with windows. Unplugged, the battery still can't power the computer, it just randomly shuts off. Battery + plugged in, same problem. I take the battery out and only run the computer plugged in, not a problem left turned on for an entire week. Do NOT buy this battery, you will be disappointed and it could contribute to component failures like mine.

My previous battery for my old laptop had long since stopped holding a charge. Sot he laptop would only function while plugged in to an AC outlet. And to be honest, I was surprised when I finally got around to looking to see if I could purchase a replacement.No major problems as of a week or so of ownership and use. laptop can be separated from a wall outlet now and small power flickers no longer cause a frustrating power-cycle of the device. More than happy with the purchase as it divorces me of the need to haul a tower to and from my brothers house on weekends.

This is the second battery that I purchased, they all die after one to two months of use. Honestly, due to the short life length before it dies it is not worth it.

We've only had it a few days but it works fine so far and is a good replacement for the old one that quit working. My husbands laptop is functional again without needing to be plugged in, just in time for him to take it on an upcoming trip!

Works as described, my Asus laptop needed a new battery and this definitely got the job done.

Battery was received with a 75% charge on it. I put it into my laptop to discharge it but it hard shut down the laptop multiple times. Plugged in the laptop to see if it would charge, it went to 100% and began to smell of overheating electronics. Battery is very warm to the touch. Started the return process with Amazon but you can't send defective Li-ion batteries through the mail so I got a refund and will dispose of this properly. This experience doesn't help my paranoia regarding "made in China" batteries. How about I pay 5x the cost and don't receive something that wants to burn my house down while I sleep?

I received two batteries from this company for my Asus laptop computer .... The first one was defective and the second one was defective ....and I recycled each battery the first time By charging the battery for 24 hours and then discharging it until my computer went out and then recharge it For 24 hours and repeated a second time 3rd time a fourth time and a fifth time... I returned the 2nd battery as they said keep the first one and we will just send you another replacement which did not work either... I commented in the feedback to the company about the battery being defective maybe they got a bad batch or something but oh well I am now buying a battery from a completely different company
