These prayer beads are securely made and are beautiful. Having been used daily, they are sturdy.

The smell is lovely, the beads the perfect size, the bead string is of a high quality. Husband is eyeing this one, he also loves the beautiful smell.

I love these beads. The Oud wood smells fantastic. Craftsman ship is very good. The colors are deep and rich. There is a small dimple on one bead but to me it just adds character, I'm not perfect either. The only thing I would change would be to leave a little more space when stringing to make counting easier. I've been trying to gently(?) stretch the string without breaking it. I still highly recommend these beads, they look and smell great and for them being hand crafted you can't beat the price! Definitely get them!

COMMENTS: I am not Muslim, but use 3s in my own practices, which made this suitable for me.PROS:- These beads are nearly (see neutrals/below) as pictured, which was exactly what I wanted.- My beads seem to be less varnished/polished than those pictured, which is a pro to me as I prefer this in use and less shine in general. They are still quite smooth, just not slippery, and do have a sheen more than a shine.- The numbers were correct and I adore both the style and function of the 33 markers.- The additional five beads are extremely useful (wish there were 7, but that’s a personal preference), and they are tight enough that they hold your count without slipping. I haven’t tried to hold a count while walking/moving and having them hang loose though. UPDATE: They do!NEUTRALS:- My beads varied from the images in that they appear to be less varnished, are lighter (like the second set of pictures, which bummed me a little as I liked the darker, but natural variance is to be expected), and were all one color instead of having lighter markers. *Please expect variance when ordering products made of a natural substance - it’s not fair to sellers/artisans to be upset about this unless there is an extreme difference*.- I noticed absolutely very, verly little scent associated with mine. I only get a faint bit if I hold them directly under my nose. I wasn’t particularly invested in this aspect though so it doesn’t bother me. Oud is a lovely scent though.- These wrap three times, with a bit of effort, around my average to slightly larger sized wrists as a woman (which I should probably measure for you all). I would exact twice with slack for most larger wrists, possibly three with slack to four on small/very small wrists.CONS:- There is very little slack between the beads - about one bead width (8mm) - for counting. I sometimes struggle to keep on the right bead because of this, especially right after passing a marker bead. I do wish there was slightly more.CONCLUSION:- These are phenomenal beads that I was very pleased to receive. I prefer simple pieces, and these had the perfect combination of understatement with style and function with the additional counting beads and the markers. I would highly recommend this to anyone that uses beads in prayer or meditation. They come simply packaged and would make a great gift even directly shipped.

My son didn't realize these were Islamic prayer beads, he just liked the way they looked. I have no experience with Islamic prayer beads but from what I'm seeing, they look nice, feel good, and I would imagine they would work for other faiths, not just the Islamic faith.They are actual wood, and have 99 beads that are separated every 33 beads.My son has used these as a sort of fidget tool as he is constantly needing to have his hands moving and playing with something, so as far as that goes, these work great.

I purchased this as an accent piece rather than for prayer or meditation. The color is right for what I wanted, and the look, feel, and quality are really excellent.And they do smell nice!The beads may be strung too tightly for counting, but just right for a necklace.I'm very pleased, and the price seems very good for handcrafted beads.

I was gifted a prayer necklace many years ago and fell in love with the concept of using it as an aide in spending more time in prayer and meditation. This one by NUSANTARA has all of the traditional components in terms of a total bead count of 99 beads divided into 3 sections of 33 as well as the classic beaded tassel.I find prayer necklaces to be very helpful in keeping me mindful and at peace whenever I need a distraction from stressful situations or simply to help me spend more focused energy during prayer and meditation. The beads themselves are beautifully handcrafted in Indonesia and separated with even tight knots with no gaping or slack in between each bead. They have a natural finish, unlike the shiny finish that is often seen on cheap beads.I keep mine in my purse or wear it as a wrap bracelet as an extra layer of protection and mindfulness. Kudos to NUSANTARA for not only creating a superb product, but also for offering it at half the price (17.99) of what is the norm for THIS quality of Tasbin.Most reviews refer to how awesome the white oud scent is, but I do not detect any scent whatsoever, which would have been a huge plus for me as I am obsessed with various oud fragrances. I know that oud fragrances are derived from various trees, but I am confused as to whether the beads have a lasting scent without being infused with the resin oil itself.Still, I would 100% recommend based on quality and value alone.
